When you start going out this is one of the problems that has to be dealt with as you feel a target if you stand still. if you didn't get any negative issues then all is well. It's a path to gaining confidence and realise that if you look acceptable, even if tall, then the likelyhood is that it will be okay. Let's face it anyone knows not to mess with older girls and especially the bigger ones.

I had a young man pay attention to me when I left a store and went to the cashpoint to draw out some cash. It was daytime and a few people were coming and going. He stood about ten feet away and while I did the transaction I could see him mirrored in the glass. It was clear he was watching me. As I finished and walked to my car he walked on the other side of the road parallel to me. As I neared my car he walked across towards me. I stopped and faced him,'Can I help you' I asked. he stopped and said 'Are those your T-ts?' I was momentarily stunned and said, ' Well they certainly aren't yours. Now ----off'. He duly obliged and scuttled off. Now did he see me as a trans or just fascinated by boobs? Don't mess with 60 somethings!

Yes about 3 years ago on warm summer evening I was out dressed in cute little sundress and wedges. I decided to grab a bottle of wine from the liquor store before heading back to my hotel i walked in picked out a bottle of wine and headed to the cash register as I waited in line a half dozen construction workers came in line behind me I could feel the stares it was a very submissive feeling to be dressed as a woman standing with those macho men. It was an unexpected thrill I will never forget.

Well, I've been a fulltime woman for almost a year now, and so far I've not experienced any delays in line ups, so I will take that as a good sign that I've been "passing".
The only delay I experienced this year was updating my medical card and drivers license. I handed the old ones to the girl, she stared at them for a few moments, looked back at me, and started to giggle. I told her there'd been a few changes to which she replied, "I can see that, lets get you a new picture!"

At the very start of my going out en femme, the first time in a department store buying lingerie and the first time at my local supermarket both had long, slow lines. I could swear that everybody was looking at and clocking me. Luckily I am now at the point where long lines are not an issue at all, except for my feet if I'm not wearing comfy shoes.

That is one of the many things that get into our heads when we go out. It is so hard, most people don't even notice us as any thing more than just another person out there.
My first HUGE step out there was in Sept of 2020, in my area things were just starting to open up after covid. I went out as Cassie and had my hair colored at Ulta in a nearby city. I nearly got sick before going into the store but went in and had my hair done , so glad I did ---everyone was soooo nice to me!! After I had my hair done I went into the nearby mall and went into a few stores. Everyone I went into the sales persons asked if I needed help. I was so terrified that they would find out I was a CD. I soon left and went home.

Today I don't care any more, if the find out or suspect I am CD that is their problem. Heck I even have a new part time job at Torrid as Cassie. I have come a LONG way in a short time. You too can go as far on this CD/trans as soon as you get the idea that others won't know or care.

I've had countless delays at cash registers from slow cashiers and delays over price checks. Being in femme mode when buying more clothes is extremely exciting but it can be scary too.

To be waiting for a price check on bras panties or dresses while other people in line are looking at you, because you are holding up the line can be pretty nerve wracking. But once you are all paid up and leave the store with no unpleasant incidents, it becomes such an incredible and amazing experience and thrill.

This one time a while back, while shopping at target en femme (leggings, tank top, hooded sweatshirt, wig, mask, sunglasses), i was in the self checkout line, i was having trouble with my red card.....i kept trying.... wouldn't work....i started panicking, what if i have to SPEAK to some....yikes. I was about to just leave the stuff and walk out! Finally i did it working....and i have a new card now!

Yes there have been delays at the check-out for me as well. One was the theme of an article I posted a while back " The Story of Me- Another Attempt At  Life As TERI- Volume 1", the second was a month ago in the Hawthorn Suites in Green Bay. I was here for the "first Thursday Cross- Dressers event. I had reservations but at check-in my Debit Card decided to be insufficient, with ten people waiting in line I had to transfer money from savings to checking via cell phone and my financial institution was doing everything in it's power to keep me on the phone. I was totally dressed from breast to shining breast, standing in the midst of other customers patiently waiting. I stayed cool, walked around the lobby not loosing my cool, and in what seemed a lifetime everything was resolved. As usual, if anybody noticed my feminine shortcomings they didn't seem to care.

One thing to remember: If you are leaving the house as a he or a she today's world is full of delays, under-staffing or people who just don't give a shit, once you leave your door expect delays, not because you look pretty....just because that's the way it is now days. I haven't had any delays with store clerks yet, but I did have one, when I needed to use the ladies room at a food court. I went down the hallway toward the entrance to the ladies room and there was a line, waiting to go in. I stood there behind a really cute looking girl and thought that I'd never get my turn to go in, as the line was moving really slow. The girl turned around and said to me, that she was going to pee her pants if she didn't get into the bathroom. I knew what she was feeling, as I had to go almost as badly as her.Thankfully we both got our turn, without peeing our panties

Not a lineup as such yet, but I did wait in a women's dressing room area once, off to the side, while a clerk looked for something. If I recall correctly, I was dressed sort of en femme and, being as tall as I am, so I did get noticed, but nothing untoward.

Most people just go about their day absorbed in their own things that they have to do.

I had several. One of my first times out at a busy store with long lines. Price check on isle four. Not the same but in drab. Buying makeup. It wouldn't scan. They asked for a price check. Everyone watched as they brought up a different foundation to scan. Most guys don't buy foundation. I wouldn't care now but I did then. And it was the wrong shade for me anyway.
