Going out en femme is still something I can only dream about. There are still way too many barriers: still haven't got the right clothes, no proper shoes, and as far as make-up skills go, I still have it all to learn. But there is one thing I enjoy working on, ready for the day when I finally step out that door. The walk.
Besides the clothes, I love observing and imitating women's behaviour, their beautiful body language and especially their walk. But it's not easy! I video myself at home walking up and down the corridor, and then try to make little adjustments according to what I see. Stop waggling the shoulders! Keep them relaxed and slightly back; legs close together, small steps...
I practise the walk outside too, and try to look at my reflection in shop windows while narrowly avoiding lamposts!
Have any of you girls got any suggestions or stories about doing the walk?
I find walking in heels helps as it changes the balance of your body and makes you walk taking smaller steps. Have also found wearing pencil skirt restricts leg movement which again shortens your step aalso adds a wiggle to your bump
