If you saw my last post about driving for Lyft while dressed, you could feel my anxiety about it. It was a great experience, and I'm grateful to Stacy for helping me take that leap.
Tonight I wanted to drive en femme, but was not willing to takt the time to put on all the makeup, or to wear the wig in this heat. And I was anxious about wearing a dress or skirt tonight. Maybe later. So I found some compromises.
I wore girl underwear, bra with light padding and no breast forms, toe nail polish that matched my girl shorts, and a simple men's polo shirt that somewhat masked the "breasts." I added a modicum of eyebrow pencil to tone down the gray in the eyebrows. (This might become a habit!) A little bit of jewelry with a necklace and bracelet and ring added to the ambience.
Though not all out femme, it was enough to feed the girl inside. I did not worry about anyone outting me, and I got to enjoy my feminine nature that was dominant today.
I even struck up a conversation with a good ole boy about his mini racer and the parades that he drove it in to see the children smile. People are just kids in adult bodies. I am happy and grateful to express the little girl in me.
Lorie........more power to you, girl. You don't have to dress to the nines. Just look at what girls around yo wear. Lingerie and jeans/shirt with everyday make-up and neatly grooming hair is a-ok.
Carry on and enjoy yourself.
