It's a good job that I'm fully out of the closet, and open about my crossdressing.

I own a Sinclair C5. It started playing up at a show a few weeks back. Today, I was in the mood to fix it. I knew it was the control module, so I removed it and started looking for the fault. I tracked the fault down to a lose bolt that the main motor -VE terminal bolts to. I wanted to share this with the FB group, so I held the module and turned the bolt back and forth, so it could be seen to be lose, and I moved the board around so people could see the damage. I posted the vid to the FB group. A friend messaged me a couple of hours later. He knows of my crossdressing and has met Cerys many times. My friend asked if I'd played the vid back and if I was happy for it to be online..... I played the vid.

I have lived as Cerys for 3 weeks. All day, every day. I forgot that I was wearing black opaque tights and a PVC, fake leather miniskirt when I shot the vid. All the while through the video, you can see the bottom 5 inches of my skirt and my tights.... Oops!!!!
A few people have commented on the vid, offer advice etc. No one has commented on what I was wearing!

I guess this is what happens when the new normal becomes normal 🙂

Be careful what you post folks! It doesn't matter to me, but to some it could be problematic!

@dazzler Thank you for sharing your story and the cautionary reminder.

I was taking a photo of my dog. When I looked at it, was about to post it, I noticed my painted toes showed up in the background, a little out of focus.

Sadly, we must always be careful what we reveal when we live a life we haven't revealed our true selves. Like master spies.

@lea-jhene I nearly died a while back. Since then, I've decided not to hide. It's got to the stage now where I'm more comfortable presenting as female than I am as male. I call Cerys "The other me". I met a friend for coffee last week. I met him as Cerys... We were talking about the other me and he asked "who is the other you these days? Which version is the real you?". He has a point. I'm a man. I'm not trans. I have no plans to transition. I just prefer to present as female. Male me is the real me, but he's boring. Cerys has (I hope) style. Cerys is fun. Cerys can go from Daisy Duke denim shorts, to long dresses... Cerys very rarely wears anything knee length or longer. Cerys brings excitement into my life. She gives me purpose.

As The Who once sang "Can you see the real me?"

@dazzler The new normal must feel so amazing!  It's great too that people just accepted it and focused on the real subject matter of your video.   I haven't gone more than a small handful of days completely dressed so I still have a sense that I am doing it.   I look forward to the day when I can wake up in the morning and just fall right into my feminine routing without giving it a second thought.

Thanks for the reminder, Cerys. I have been wearing my stuff at home more often, lately. I have to be careful if anyone video calls me.

@harriette The other day I was in "silly mode" 15 denier tights, Daisy Duke denim shorts with turn ups, and an AC-DC T-shirt. Chap comes to the door to tell me the water will be off for 30 minutes and to run it for a while when it comes back on. I hadn't shaved, or put a face on, so I look as old and as ugly as I could 🙂 Again, I forgot how I was dressed. I'd never go out like that 🙂

@dazzler

I don't answer the door if en-femme. A friend knocked recently and my wife answered the door, told the caller I had just got out of the shower.

Maybe your viewers were too engrossed in the technical chat to notice.

@ab123 It wasn't that technical. It was just me turning a bolt with my fingers 🙂
A few of the people on the group know of Cerys, and a couple have met her.

It appears all is good. My FB profile pic is a Cerys pic.

I was up at my cabin last month, I always dress when I'm here by myself. My SO knows I dress and sometimes go out up here but not how far I have taken it. I wanted to take a photo of something on the ground to show her. Her first comment was about my girl sandals, not the subject of the pic. I didn't even realize you could see them. It taught me to be more careful with the pics I share.
