Despite my paranoia issues surrounding privacy and photography, after a lot of research I decided to take the risk and finally go on a photo shoot last week. In short, it was an outdoor shoot with some make up advice / fine tuning beforehand.
I decided I wanted to try and capture the same Judy that goes out and about, but with some additional help from the pros. Nothing hyper glamorous, for now. Save that for another time.
I'm not one to get too emotional when it comes to my CD existence but having never seen my femme self in a photo before it was a full on emotional moment when I looked at the photos. I was close to crying. In fact, I was crying.
The shoot has to be the highlight of my CD life, so far.
I know that many of you have said that a photoshoot is an incredible experience. You weren’t wrong. What a blast. I learnt so much about photography, make up and myself.
As for posting any photos, well that’s another issue, but never say never. 😎
Judy.
Good for you Judy! Write again if you decide to post the photos; we'd love to see them.
Hey Judy,
Seems you’re very pleased with the photos. Congratulations on overcoming the dread factor.
