It's Halloween and with that work did put up a virtual costume contest - send in a pic of your costume and win something. For work related reasons I'm not getting in to here one obvious chose for me was Harley Quin from suicide squad and with that I can justify having nailpolish and show up en femme on videocalls and so on.
Now it was very short notice ("tomorrow noon is last day to send pics", and that was the first anyone heard of it) so I had a good excuse to not do that good version. I did get some Halloween makeup which I now is crap but for the smudged version of Harley Quin that works just fine, and that also hides that I have some experience in the makeup area. Hard to get clothes with split colours so no red and black horizontally, had to be mixed vertically instead.
Pic in my gallery, I think I could do way better especially in the makeup part but I'm out of time and lazy so this is what I did this first time I show anything of kelly/harley quinn for my coworkers.

That's not a bad effort at all. Just enough to look okay but maybe questions as to why you chose a female role.. Maybe your lady co workers will say they could have done your make up - the opportunity to take them up on the offer.
I am sure you will update the results.
Not going to bore you with the long story of why but in short, to my coworkers it's not that strange that I dress as Harley Quin, and it's almost expected.
Given that we are a very virtual team spread out all over the world the few female coworkers I have are no wear near me (and my wife isn't much help).
The deadline is now moved one day (something about complains about the short notice:) ) but I will add an update once the voting and comments is done.

Just a quick update - I did win. Can't say it was a landslide but it was a win with good margin.

Your pic looks great, Terry, and congrats on the win

Have now shown the winning picture to some family and got some positive comments (didn't expect anything else), just have some problem explaining that I had no problems walking in those heels.
I have a hope/plan to come out to them when we meet around christmas and I feel this is a good start.
