Something amazing just happened fairly recently, giving me a huge boost of confidence as Tiffany. See, I haven't had the blessing to fully transform into femme mode, so I still have a beard, and not so little body hair either.
Earlier in the week, I was getting some laundry done. I'm currently in an apartment with one of those shared laundry areas. I decided to go across the complex to the laundry room in high-heel booties, jeggings, a pink blouse, and matching bra and panty set underneath. Hearing the click-click-click of my high heels was already getting my heart pumping. But then, suddenly I hear noises in the laundry room as I approach. Most of my neighbors don't know I dress yet.
Luckily, it happened to be a woman whom I've run into before while wearing something girly, like the boots, or a very obviously femme top with an otherwise very male-like outfit. Anyways, she knew I dresssed like this sometimes, so it made me feel better that she was the one in the room, and not a random stranger I haven't met yet. But it's what she said to me that really made my ego swell, and in the moment, really allowed me to feel Tiffany coming up to the surface.
This kind neighbor, whom I have only met on a couple of occasions, was so excited for me and for how far I had taken my look. She gave me compliments on my outfit, mostly my top, but she also said I looked fierce. Fierce! In my quickly thrown together outfit I had only worn to go grab the laundry. Me, TIffany, fierce! I love that, and meeting people who get it, and who are happy for you to show yourself off like that make it that much easier to go out in public dressed the next time.
So to my fellow ladies; may you all look fierce and beautiful!
I'm glad for you, Tiffany. Thanks for the advice. Follow your heart. It's the right thing to do. A warm welcome for you to CDH. Enjoy iy.

<p style="text-align: left;">Hi tiffany</p>
I had to stop for a laundry story. I moved to a new apartment complex myself a few months ago. I've only ventured outside dressed a few times. Late late night. Always was very exciting. A few weeks ago I was dressed up on a Friday night that continued all though Saturday. I had to do laundry Sunday morning. It was definitely time for me to hang up the girly clothes. Of course it was early 5:00am. I was wearing a black leotard tights and a short frilly lace skirt. Full dress makeup turned out really well, one of the reasons I didn't want it to end just yet. I grabbed my dirty clothes a headed out to the laundry room. I get down the stairs there was two of my neighbors talking. I walked a little sideways passed. They had no idea it was me. I had on girly sunglasses but I thought no way. I really don't look at all like me when it comes out right.... keep dressing

I have to do Caty's in secret, ie when my beloved is not home. So I wsait until she has gone out, do all my hand washing then take then to my storage unit to be pegged on on a fold out clothes airer for a couple of days.
Painful, but necessary, as we work on the DADT principal..

Well done Tiffany, and congratulations! I have never aspired for the “fierce” look, but I believe I shall give it a try!

People never cease to amaze with the kind words and acceptance. I wonder if she has any idea of the impact she had on you and those of us reading your story. Hugs to you and your neighbor.
It's been 18 months since this incredible event happened. Unfortunetly, I don't think she will ever truly know the full impact she had on me that day, because sadly I haven't seen her since. I'm not sure if she moved out of the complex, or if we literally just haven't ran into each other since, but I haven't been able to let her know just how much that small act meant to me.
Hello Tiffany; Thank you for sharing this story. It's great when a casual encounter turns into such a confidence booster.
