Happy Friday

Hello Everyone!

Today is a good day. Well.... everyday is a good day but today is a little better. My son is visiting with relatives out of state, and my wife is at work. Since my son moved back in with us, my opportunity to dress has been greatly reduced. It works out that every other Friday for maybe 3 to 4 hours is all the time that I usually have. Knowing that I have all day today, Autumn got up early and got dressed. Like 5 minutes after my wife pulled out of the drive way. 😉

It's a bit of a clash day though. I am wearing my favorite pink floral blouse with a long paisley & floral skirt that is mainly shades of blue and lavender on a black background. The skirt is also a favorite so I went for  favorites over coordinated fashion. I also put on a pair of thigh high stay up stockings, my favorite white lace underwire bra, and a brand new pair of Soma vanishing edge hipsters(yes, a floral print). Not in that order of course 😉

I started my day as I usually do with 2 cups of coffee. Today the coffee was in my next gen captain's shirt coffee mug. Who was it that said you needed a Star Trek coffee mug? I was going to give credit but can't find the post.

After breakfast I gathered my laundry, pretreated anything that needed it with shout, and got the laundry into the washer. Very exciting I know.

 I noticed it was windy out side and realized the garbage can and lid were blown into the street. I couldn't have that, but couldn't risk being seen in a blouse, skirt, or stockings by my neighbors. I also didn't want to change so I did the next best thing. I put on a pair of pajama pants and stuffed my skirt into it. (probably the only time anyone would want to do that on purpose). I then put on my blue manly bathrobe and my blue manly slippers. I didn't bother with socks since only my stocking ankles were showing at that point. After rescuing the bin and lid and going back into the house, I removed the slippers, robe, and pajama pants.

Since I knew I had much more time than I usually do I was looking forward to starting the video series with Dr. Dee here on CDH. I watched the first one "Tales from the Trenches"->

If you haven't seen it, I highly recommend it.  

As for now, I have to move laundry into the dryer. Then I will watch the second episode "Pills Patches and Shots OH MY!".

I have a little over 3 hours left of my CD day to enjoy today. I hope you are enjoying your day at least as much as I am enjoying mine!
