Ladies! Good morning!!! First, thank you to all of you who have welcomed me to the site over the years, as I have come and gone, struggling with this side of me. You have been incredibly welcoming and accepting - thank you!
So... this week I am traveling to Florida and will have some time to dress, shop, etc. and I have decided to kind of go all out. I am actually writing this from the airport and ready to go! I have packed the few girly things that I have but plan on spending today doing some shopping and have a wig appointment this afternoon! I have other commits this week as well, so I cannot go like full time, but I should have enough time to shop, dress, and go out a little.... we will see.
I want kind of journal my week and share with you all some of the adventures and maybe a few phots. So, I guess I will be putting those updates on my wall. We will see how this goes. Fingers crossed!

I'm sure you will enjoy all your girl time during the coming days, Amberly.
It is as JJ says, you may feel nervous at first but one you step out onto the street things should start to go easier.
I used to find that getting out of the car was the most difficult part. Once out onto the street I would think that everyone as seen me now so then it didn't really matter.
I am looking forward to reading more as you add to your journal.

Have fun, it sounds like you will have some good oppurtunities. Most of all, just relax and enjoy the experience. It will be nerveracking a t rimes, but once tou commit and go it quickly becomes a fun and exciting experience. Just own it and tou will be fine.
Wnjoy you wig shopping, or all yoir shopping for that matter. I have bought a couple of wigs and the shop ladiws are always fantastic. Try fun styles and colors, but just the opinion of rhe SAs as to what style and color suits you best.
I look forward to posts of your adventures. Travel is a fun way to expand your dressing.

Amberley, I have in the past done quite a few out of town remodels and loved the opportunity's that I had to dress and shop. Because of my going to supply houses I was always on the lookout for places to shop. Problem was though, that when I finished working for the day, went shopping, came home and changed, made dinner for myself it was time to go to bed, but all my free time was spent as Sherri and I loved all of it.

I hope the trip goes well for you and that the wig appointment is the crowning glory to give you more confidence. I suspect that you will have to take a million dollars with you as that's how you'll feel and want to spend it all on girl things!
