Fun and interesting question. My answer would be that I crossdress as long as I can! But to really answer the question I'd guess about 8-10 hours. I only dress at home so I eventually like to go outside and I have to do that in guy mode, although underdressing in nylon panties always a treat and extends the crossdressing clock, I suppose...
@gracepal This and last Keystone I did Tue through Sat - so 5 days at about 15 hours +/- each. By Friday my feet are definitely paying the price, but I just cope because it's too much fun.
However, come Sunday, I'm absolutely ready to sleep in, not scrape my face with razor sharp steel, and get ready in 10 minutes instead of 90. lol
Hi girls,
Day time underdressing. Every day with changes according to the season. Summer panties and sometime a bralette. cooler days add a cami matched to the "others"
Cooler months, as above but with stockings or heavy duty tights.
Nightime.Summer
Femme bra, forms, silk cami, french knickers, with either silk pj's or nightie over the top. Again toning/macthing is amust.
Cooler months bra, forms, thermal cami and fleecy pj's.
As for "fully femme" only an infrequent weekend, which sadly hs not occured for quite some time.
Caty.
For the past four years I have been able to indulge and be the girl in me as much as I want, and I find myself spending days at a time in Caroline-mode. Sometimes the only reason I wear male clothes is to go out or if we have visitors, and then I am generally androgynous or at least underdressed.
I would say that I have managed four full days and nights.
I normally dress when working from home alone, which is usually two days a week. One early in the week and one later. 7 to 8 hours is more than enough for me. Now and then, the two days fall consecutively, in which case, I'll probably only dress for one of them.
When I'm not working and at home alone, then I try to go out en femme. I'm usually out for about 5 hours, going out after the morning rush hour and travelling back before the evening one begins. Gives me ample time to enjoy myself.
Fully en femme, I would have to say 6 days. This week at Keystone I dressed on Tuesday morning and (except for wig and makeup) stayed en femme through Sunday evening. This included the drive too Keystone on Tuesday, the drive home on Sunday, even going out to dinner with my daughter Sunday night.
During the pandemic lock down I was en femme a lot longer, but there were times I had to change, even for a few minutes, like ordering in pizza, occasional weekly religious services (maybe once every 2 weeks), or religious services over zoom in the evenings.
While at home I have commitments a few times a week where I have to be en homme, so I don't have the opportunity to dress en femme on a long term basis.
Having for many years been limited by circumstances to two or three hours and maybe only once or twice a month for dressing, I often wondered whether my enthusiasm would diminish if I could dress more frequently or for longer. When an opportunity arose (wife away for a few days) I decided to try to get dressed every morning and remain dressed, at least in the underwear, all day until bed time. (Note that my preference was for the more formal dress of the mid 20th century, not for modern "comfort" dressing). If I needed to go out I took off my dress and put on trousers and shirt over my bra, girdle, panties and stockings - and also had to change into flat, male shoes. I would re-dress immediately on returning.
It was an eye-opener to begin each day hooking myself into the necessary underwear, fastening stockings and strapping on the (not very high) heels and then going about household activities in a skirt or dress. Greater care was needed and there were some times when male attire would have been easier and/or more comfortable but, by the afternoon - and into the evening - I could understand my wife's view that it wasn't a problem and women just got used to it. My conclusion was that, given the opportunity and the right circumstances, I too could do it every day and "get used to it". Unfortunately, such opportunity never arose and a few days was my maximum.
I sleep every night in a silky nightgown or slip. When I get up I might put on pantyhose, lipstick and earrings.I have breakfast with my wife that way also. That’s about an hour’s worth. Then I get for work. That’s in guy mode. When I get home I do my guy chores around the house. When done with that I clean up and dress up fem again and relax. Usually a dress or skirt and all the accessories. But to dress for even a full day just never seems to work out. The best I have done is maybe four hours. I’m dying for the chance of a full day.
If I'm going out, I will probably go eight to ten hours en femme. If I didn't have to take the dog out (not doing Becca in the village, except to the neighbours, too many pitchforks) I'd quite happily do all day dressed.
I'm not sure I'd want to do it the next day, and the next, and the next, for quite few reasons:
I'd get really pee'd off wearing a wig all that time.
Breast forms get a bit sweaty after a while.
Walking like a woman does my back in after a few hours.
I have to wear makeup and that would mean replacing it at regular intervals.
But mostly, I would run out of money with all the shopping I'd do! 🤣

Great question Grace. The 4 days at keystone is the longest I've spent enfemme. Went the entire time as Diana and found it to be my best experience yet. Sorry we didn't get a chance to meet. Maybe next year. Hoping to go back if I can.
Interesting post grace, I’ve wondered how others feel about this. I attended keystone this year, and 4 days en femme is about my max. I did the same I think at the Lake Erie gala back in November. Being fabulous is a lot of work, from shaving to makeup to planning what to wear, jeez how do women do it everyday? I guess things become routine after a while but many of us cds are like toddlers just learning to walk, over time it just gets easier I assume and more “routine”. I hope you had a blast at keystone Grace, I sure did. Ty for the thought provoking post.
My longest was about 36 hours, plus or minus. That was last Thanksgiving weekend when I had no plans but I did have to cut it short on order to catch a flight that Sunday. I spent most of T-day dressed, and pretty much all the next day. That was the day I stopped at a self serve to get gas fully dressed. I totally lucked out too, nobody else was at the pumps. But I was in full view of any passing traffic and if any attendant spotted me, they gave no indication. Then on Saturday I did my packing for my trip wearing just a denim skirt and a woman's tee shirt, skipping the wig, underwear, forms, makeup, etc. I wanted to make sure I was cleaned up enough for my flight the nest day.
It's hard for me to string a lot of days together even if I have them available because I'm too much of an outdoor person to be able to stay inside for very long. And sneaking past the neighbors going in and out while dressed is a bit of a hurdle. It can and has been done, though.
Once on the road, I'm fine. I don't pay any attention to the other drivers and if any of them spot me as a CD, they'll only get a couple of seconds' glimpse so by the time they realize what they just saw, I'm several hundred yards down the road. I do get a bit nervous at long cycle traffic lights sometimes, though.
Probably the only way I can stay dressed for more than a couple of days is to attend an event like this Keystone thing you've all been writing about. The best way to hide a needle in a haystack is with a bunch of other needles.
I'm not actually sure long I can last, though. "Drag fatigue" is bound to set in at some point. But lately I've been shutting down not because I want to but because I have to, for work the next day or other reasons.
As for going full time, that's a very tall mountain for me. I still like being a guy when I'm being a guy.
