Beth's feisty stinker side is out in force tonight!
Went grocery shopping earlier, of course dressed en femme, wearing a cute lavender mid thigh dress, black leggings and black low heels. Not even a second look from anyone, plenty of friendly smiles, a few hellos and the lady at the cosmetics counter was pleasant. (Had to get Biotin for my disastrous nails.) Lovely outing!
Made dinner and when finished went outside to have a smoke. That's when the fun began. The neighbor came out for his evening walk. He has seen me dressed in leggings before and wearing my old wig (I call it the fright wig) and asked me about it. My reply, in my deepest baritone voice, was "I've changed, I'm a woman now". His look was priceless, a combination of confusion, fear and consternation. He ducked back inside quickly. Tonight when he came out he saw me in my short dress with my new, much better wig. I said "Hi", this time in my best female voice. He quickly turned and headed down the sidewalk looking over his shoulder with a confused look. He went to the end of the block and turned to go up the side street. Before disappearing from view he turned to stare at me, even from that distance I could see the consternation on his face. I gave him a cute wave, he turned and practically fled up the street.

Oh, yes! Beth has fulfilled her desire for fun tonight. Every morning I get up, look in the mirror and recite my mantra. "I'm Beth! (emphatically) I'm a girl! (Demonstrably stomping foot) And I'm happy! (giggling) It sure worked today.

I suspect he may be looking before he comes out. I went out several times today but never saw him. I know he was out because the garbage can was moved to the curb for tomorrow's pick up and it was done during a brief period when I wasn't out.
I guess I scared him! Lol! But I did get to enjoy a warm but windy day and my dress did fly up! The house across the street is being remodeled and maybe the construction crew got a show! Tomorrow it's supposed to rain so the show is cancelled. Lol
