A few days ago I had the opportunity to spend a couple of hours dressed …

I dropped the SO off to do some shopping and have lunch with one of her friends. It was raining most of the way back. As I got nearer home the weather changed to clear blue skies with a bit of cloud - but cold and a very chilly breeze. Nice weather, so a chance to get out and about.

I got changed into my usual winter walk outfit - 60d tights, blouse, charcoal grey & black pinafore dress, some flat shoes and a green parka; with tan handbag cross-slung.

Five minutes later I was out of the house and on my way. I walked up through the housing estate to the main road and crossed over and then a little further on to a small shopping precinct (not very busy, but a few people around) where I had a little wander about looking into the shop windows One of the estate agents had a property similar to mine on sale - nice to know how much my house could be worth. Well I was at the shops, I thought I've got to go into one sometime in a dress or skirt so it might as well be now - so I decided to go into the small convenience store, once through the door I had a look round the store to see what they stocked and then decided on a token purchase - a small bar of plain chocolate - I went to the tills and paid for it. No bother at all. I left the shop and crossed the road. Time to get home, so I went back through an alley way between some houses into the green space beyond, I walked along the path down the hill and then back home through the housing estate. All told I was out for about 45 minutes. First thing I did when I got in and took my my coat off was to sit down and eat the chocolate bar I bought - yummy 🙂

I had some time left before I had to get changed to go and collect the SO - I sorted a few things out around the house and then tried on on my recent purchases …

  • a white full slip - I looked so elegant and feminine in it, also very practical - good for a cooler weather under an outfit or underneath a thin dress.
  • a blue top with black leaf motif pattern - oh dear not right ! (looked ok when I bought it in the charity shop); you can't get it right every time.
  • a pink lace effect T top - really suited me, worked so well with my navy skirt.

Another lovely time dressed – looking forward to my next time

Sounds like s wonderful day. I have been out walking but have avoided all interaction, I need to take a lot more time to sort out my makeup

What a lovely time you had. It's so nice to be out and about en femme. I'm sure that you felt on cloud 9 for the rest of the day!

Cindy, it seemed weird at first, but its' the makeup that takes, A the time to put on, B the practice to get it right! Makeup I think is very important for us to do. I still can't do eyes very well, and go light on them, as I feel that little or no makeup is worse than badly applied makeup.
