My heels touched the ground outside, I stood up outside my car, and my invincibility power bar started getting stronger. Like a video game, I monitored my surroundings, checked my confidence levels, and proceeded forward wearing a dress, tights, and heels out in public.
The more I walked, the more invicible I felt. The more I shopped, the more invincible I felt. The more confident I felt. Even received some smiles and a few nice comments.
A couple hours of shopping, numerous glances in mirrors to check my outfit, recheck it, readjust it. Suddenly, I noticed I had made a mistake - a fashion mistake. My dark skirt was sheer, and I didn't wear a slip. Luckily it was only noticeable in the brightest lights, but how could I have forgotten this simple rule.
Even us detail oriented CDs make fashion mistakes, and it's okay!
Lea such a tingling sensation it certainly puts a giggle in your mind. Thank you for sharing, it certainly puts that thought in everybody's mined to look the way we can be and that's why we learn all the time..to be that lady 🌹
Lea; Thank you for the funny story. You're right, wearing a thin material skirt or dress without a slip is normally a faux pas. However in today's fashion world, nylon slips have almost disappeared from the lingerie drawer. Slips were my favorite when I played dress-up in my youth. I loved them then and still do. Most cis women don't even wear them and its considered more liberating and daring to go without one. So to each their own, I guess.
