Louisville

Hey y’all my name is Megan 🙂 I posted a while ago here (almost two months ago) about my upcoming trip to Louisville and Asheville NC. I wanted to share how it went.

So a little backstory for me is that I have been dressing on and off most of my life since I was preteen to now. I gave it up a few times (like a lot of us) but it seems to always come back. Now that I am married with many kids I don’t do it very often; really only when I travel or go to a different city. I live just south of Minneapolis Mn so I go there periodically but not as often as I would hope. When I do get to go there I try and dress up as much as possible!

Anyways back to my trip, as soon as I left the house I found a good place to change (usually a rest stop or a gas station) this time it was a rest stop; I always love changing in those as you go into the family restroom as a man and come out as a woman! It is exhilarating! Anyway I drove all the way down to Louisville stopping along the way dressed in a cute red dress and heels 👠 for gas and food. I decided not to check into the hotel in fem mode (I chickened out) but when I got to the room immediately redid my makeup and put on my hot pink one piece swim suit! It is um very nice for my body :). And went to the hot tub!

After that I came back and did a little selfie photo shoot in my room and decided to go out! I put on a one shoulder black dress with my black heels redid my makeup and went to the car. (I don’t have a wig so this was all natural hair). I went to target and did a little shopping and then went to a local gay bar; I didn’t really stay very long as there was only a couple ppl there. So I walked a couple blocks (got cat called) and went back to my room.

The real good time was coming back, so I went t to Asheville the next day for a wedding and then drove back the following night to Louisville. I decided what the heck I’m going to check in as Megan! So I took my little bag (no male clothes) with my few dresses and heels, I had one pair of heels on, my purse over my shoulder and another pair of heels on top of my bag. This was the first time I’ve EVER done this!! I walked up to the counter and he about couldn’t get the words out of his mouth! He stuttered a few times asking me the questions for checkin it was AWESOME! And I looked back walking to the room and he totally checked me out! Best feeling ever. Then the next morning I needed to check out early (6am) and decided I’m going to eat as Megan and check out, so I took my stuff to my car, came back in grabbed some food and sat down. It was an amazing feeling when the breakfast lady told me I looked beautiful! 😍 I was flabbergasted! Anyways I then went and checked out, it was the same freakin guy! He turned bright red and asked me in a sheepish way how my stay was and checked me out of my room! I totally thought he was going to hold the door for me (they were automatic unbenounced to me) and I clicked my heels to the car!

Whew! So then on the drive back I wanted to stop at a Sephora for a color match (thanks to one of my friends who recommended it!) and I was like what the hell no one knows me and will never see me again so I  changed into a more causal dress and wedge heels (instead of stilettos) as it was in a shopping mall. And walked in to Sephora. I met the best guy working there!!! He told me he loved my dress and walked me through every step and got me what I needed to look my best!

Awwwww it was the best trip ever! I’m looking for another one! I want my next adventure to be working with clients as Megan! I run my own business and go to Clients homes to design and build kitchens and such and want to be Megan during the meeting!!! Someday (hopefully soon) but someday 🙂 so if you need a new kitchen haha message me! (Shameless plug)

Thanks for reading everyone!!!!!

Love Megan

@meganjohnson I love this story! You were so brave! I love shopping as Lacy, but I have never gotten a makeover. It sounds like fun. You go girl!

Megan, that was quite the trip away, wasn't it!  I love how the reception guy was so taken with you and the compliment you got over breakfast.  Just goes to show, when you feel good, you look good.  The benefits of wearing a nice dress and heels 🙂

Hugs,
Fiona xxx

Wow fun story. It has taken me a lifetime to work up the nerve to go out to a costume ball. Good for you.
