I went to see Metallica perform live on Tuesday with my brother & sister. What a great show! Knowing none of us would be sober enough to drive home after the show, we all pitched in on a hotel room and took Wednesday off.
When I got home Wednesday, I showered and took a well deserved nap. Upon waking, I realized I had 7 hours before my fiancee got home, so I decided to take another whack at applying my own makeup.
I was rather happy with how it turned out, though I still have much to learn. I've posted larger versions of these photos on my blog, in case anyone wants a good fright!
Ciao Marika. Practice makes perfect, and I think you did a good job. It is rather subdued, but your look was very casual, so that is good. It is always good to get advice, but at the end the things we learn by ourselves end up being the ones that apply the best to us, right? May I make only one small suggestion? Your blusher seems to be more on the apple of your cheeks and it may look nicer if a bit more blended towards the ears... but like I said, we learn by practice and practice and you are really on your way! Nice!
God I dont know where to begin, lol.I hope my wife can be of assistance. My biggest fear is me being color blind. This could be horrific for me.Know one knows what it is like unless you are.
Hi Gabriela! Thanks for your kind compliment. Truthfully, the subdued look is all I'm comfortable doing at the moment. I'll definitely give your suggestion a try, maybe with a slightly darker shade of blush. I really need to work on my eye makeup skills as well.
I realize it's a process, but it's a hassle relying on girlfriends to do my makeup when I go out, so I'm a bit impatient for the skill to develop.
XOXO
