Hi everyone,
In my "declining years" I have ended up with a few troublesome health problems, i.e., a lower back that like the old gray mare, "aint what it used to be" and recently, diagnosed with reoccurance of a double inguinal hernia.
Yes, I have braces for my back and a hernia support as well, but I think I nice stretchy, lacy pantie girdle would be much more fun!!
Whilst I am sure my GP would not object, the "resident medical officer" in this house, (She who knows about Caty, but does not want to know), would have very strong other views.
Sigh.... I can but dream!! Only qualification is I'm not sure I could cope with such a garment on a 40'C Australian summer day!!!.
I have seen on the Her Room website, where men do buy this type of garment for support, alas alack I cannot be one of them.
Happy dressing
Caty Ryan
Hi Caty,
Sorry to hear about your medical problems, I had a back injury many years ago and I well remember the constant pain, fortunately I managed to shake that one off and it is no longer a problem, but I do sympathise with you. I have recently been diagnosed with arthritis in my left knee which makes it challenging to wear high heels, but that won't stop me! I'll just have to exercise it more and rest it when it starts to play up. Good luck with the pantie girdle, I wish I had one when I had back problems, although it has to be said I wouldn't have had the same problem with the heat here in the UK!
Keep well Andrea xx
Hi Caty!!!!!!! So sorry to hear about vack issues., Girl, a corset would be a wonder thing for your back quite comfortable and sexy looking .....Yes hot in summer but can always use when not so hot or air conditioner on. And they are very reasonably price-wise. Try one out,
Lady Veronica
Thank you for the kind replies ladies and Lady Veronica, rest assured I do own two high quality corsets, one black and one white. But a/. As much I used to love being "tightly corseted", especially in my period gowns, these days it does not seem to "cinch me", (boom boom), as much as it used to and b/. Yes it would help the back, but if anything, just like my existing back braces, put more "squeeze" on the hernias!!
Happy dressing, (as I am today, first time fully dressed since late October and loving wearing my "Mother of the Bride" outfit, as per one of my profile photos!!. Luckily this part of the house is cool, cos it's a warm summers day outside and I'm JUST short of "overheating").
