Throughout my life as a CD, I’ve always kept my cross dressing hidden from my family. My father was a man’s man. I knew he would never understand or accept my cross dressing. My mother knew I cross dressed but never approved and did all she could to discourage me. As if that would stop me. My sister was the one I was never sure. In my youth, she knew that I dressed on occasion, but I never knew how she felt about my dressing.
Many years later, living on my own, retired and both my parents gone, I’m finding it hard to afford my rent for my one bedroom apartment. My rent was taking about two thirds of my Social Security payment. The solution was to move back into my parents house. I now own half of the house. The problem was that my sister, owning the other half of the house, was living there. I didn’t have much of a choice. I gave up my apartment and moved into my parent’s house with my sister.
After about a week and with the urge to dress growing inside me, I knew I had to confess to my sister about my cross dressing. I thought up a speech explaining my need to dress and the differences between a cross-dresser, gay, drag queen and so on. I also decided to start by showing her an older picture of me cross dressing. To my surprise, she ask me who is the person in the picture. Apparently I was better then I thought crossing back in those days considering I didn’t know as much back then. I told her it was me and that I’m a cross-dresser. But before I could start my speech explaining, she said it’s alright and that her only concern was that I didn’t get into trouble cross dressing in public.
As of now, I have dressed three time in front of my sister, and she has not express any disapproval or disgust. She even told me that I’m better with makeup then she. Have to admit, my sister really surprise me.

And the big question. Are you regretting not telling her back in the day? Perhaps the conversation will come. Enjoy your new found confidante and freedom....
Dream come true! Is it the house you grew up in?
Sometimes, our loved ones can surprise us; it took a little time, but my wife has come to accept me as a gf...the same woman who once told me it is a sin for men to wear dresses.
