Well, to begin the story, I was blessed with a lot of my mom’s traits. We both love to wear pantyhose dresses, make up heels we’re both very feminine, and also she gave me a gift of having a woman’s, but me and her are almost identical size of a rear end, I didn’t like it as much young because I got made fun of a little bit but now I love it because my panties fit just right, but anyway, there was a church function going on about four years ago, and I wore my panties and pantyhose under my slacks, like I always do and I guess my slacks were a little tighter than I thought Because I had a lady call me over and she goes honey I see your panty lines I said are you kidding me she said no and I just said OK she said oh don’t worry about it. I wish you were under your pants is your business as thanked her for being so understanding , and after the encounter, I felt a little bit of pride why I don’t know what do you ladies think I felt proud of anyway, I just thought I would share
@jasminejeffries75 There's definitely some validation in that! I wish I had problems like that. I generally try to hide my panty lines but if they show once in a while so be it. I wear leggings a lot as everyday wear so a thong is a must.
@jasminejeffries75 Hi Jasmine. What a very thought provoking post. I was also borne with a very feminine lower body, small high waist and wide hips and bubble tush. As a youngster, I was relentlessly made fun of by both boys and girls. I tried to hide it as much as possible, but wasn't always successful. As I grew older I discovered bodybuilding and was able to put enough muscle on my upper body to actually compete. My weight lifting gave me a more muscular upper body and for the most part offset my feminine appearing lower as it became more muscular as well. I actually met my wife of many years at a contest and was introduced by mutual friends. She was the one who really started and encouraged my dressing. My competitive days ended in my late 20s but I continue to work out daily. With encouragement from my lovely wife, I continued to evolve my dressing and slowly over time I've been able to reduce my upper body bulkiness and get back my feminine figure.
I wear panties, women's jeans, pants, shorts exclusively and they fit great. Much more so than any guy clothes I ever owned. As for pantie lines, I don't go out of my way to hide them one way or another. My tops/shirts I wear daily generally partially cover my tush anyway and if I happen to have pantie lines I honestly don't care. My wife loves my look and that's all I care about anyway. Just my .02.

There are all kinds of men's underwear, too, so what would indicate that you were wearing something other than men's underwear? To me, that seems pretty presumptuous of her.
@harriette It’s easy to tell a women’s panty line because the crotch area usually has a seam, an arc if you will. Like an upside down smile from cheek to cheek of the leg opening part of the panty. Men’s don’t have them. Not that I’ve ever really looked or paid a lot of attention😜
@harriette Men’s underwear don’t have that little panty line down at the bottom so I guess that’s what she noticed. I don’t know, but I was caught.
@jasminejeffries75 I’m quite sure that I’ve had a panty line many times and someone noticed but didn’t say anything lol.
I think it’s kind of hot myself. It’s subtle. It’s always fun to underdress when the people you’re talking to Don’t have a clue what you’re wearing underneath your guy clothes lol.

I was underdressing once ages ago during my first marriage on a road trip back from Texas. I was wearing a little cotton bra I bought at Walmart. My wife ended up seeing the bra outline through my clothes, even though I intentionally wore a button up shirt over my T-shirt.
Let’s just say she wasn’t quite that kind about it lol. God she hated it with a passion

@sweetdani4luv hi myself really don’t like phone panties. I always love to see panty lines on a woman so I feel kind of naughty to have my panty line show weird I guess.
@jasminejeffries75 I can totally relate JJ…I don’t think it’s weird. Just another one of those subtle differences between girls and boys growing up that fascinates and mystifies.

This topic has always confused me. In that if a man wore briefs would he also not have a similar outline if he wore tight slacks?
@darcy97 Darcy I think kind of, but they don’t have that little built-in bottom that gives you the panty line. I myself felt a little, proud that the lady noticed my panty line.
Jasmine, I too not to brag,I have a cute butt also and I wear cowgirl jeans to show it off. I never thought about the pantie lines before, but now I kind of hope they do show o bit, something more to look at. After all you're looking at my butt aren't you?

@blondsherri so true girlfriend, having that, so true girlfriend, having that, but like my moms rear end like my mother was a curse and a blessing, growing up. I had wider hips and a flabby your rear end just like a girl always made my panties and pantyhose fit me better, but I got told I had a woman’s butt forever is a little embarrassing at times, but when I was dressed as a girl, I just felt right.
I think she was just "letting you Know" your VPL was on show.
@leslienix Leslie she definitely was letting me know it was visible. I don’t know if anybody else noticed, but she mentioned it to me and I kind of gave me a rush to have that conversation with the woman I didn’t even know.
Since I'm not completely "out", I usually only underdress when going to the local mall.
I enjoy letting my VPL show - as it sometimes must do, judging from the occasional second glance from the odd woman.
@katherineboesemann I know what you’re talking about. I don’t know why I take pride in having a clear panty line but maybe there’s something wrong with me lol.
I gave up thinking about VPLs years ago. I used to be a bit selfconscious worrying about them showing, but stopped even thinking about it years ago. Either nobody ever noticed, or nobody ever said anything, either way I just do not even think about it anymore, and I only wear bikini panties or thongs, and if somebody notices, so be it.
I think it was great she mentioned it in such a sense of goodwill. She just wanted to let you know that the lines were visble in case you didn't know. Her comment about you can wear what you want an acceptance of sorts.
she was definitely a sweetheart she smiled at me, and I look in her eyes. She had no judgment made me feel warm all over.
Very nice. I think at least clothing and jewelry marks are okay sis.

I am intersex, and grew up with many feminine physical features, one of which caused much teasing by school mates as they called me "muffin butt" quite a few times. I also have wide hips and very feminine thighs. I am a fulltime girl and work as a woman, so those feminine physical features are an amazing blessing now! Anyway, part of my work uniform, that I wear every day, is a pair of black yoga pants. They're basically leggings flared at the ankles, so they show off my cute butt, my hips and thighs. I also have very tiny privates which are basically invisible with the tight pair of panties I wear each day. They are designed and made so the material at the bottom of your bottom has no seams, so the view anyone sees looks like I'm not wearing anything under my yoga pants... ...which I find quite satisfying!

That was sweet of her to tell you and nice to be validated. I underdress at times in panties and haven't noticed a VPL but then my shorts or pants aren't' very tight. I'm sur eif I were to wear leggings out the story may be different. I do remember one time being dressed in drab wearing a pair of white scrub pants that were a bit thin and a pair of tightie whities under them and having somebody point that out. I laughed it off but it made me wonder why they noticed -lol.

@cdsue sue it wasn’t so much that I was seeing with panty lines it was I was kind of proud that I was seen with them. Strange, I know.
@cdsue I wear a thong with leggings or toga pants.
My first time wear panties I had to unexpectantly srub into a surgery so I had to change into srubs, so I was paniced about panties lines, but there was not choice and just did it. Of course it was both scary and exhilerating at rhe same time, and is probably why I became a panty lover.
@jjandme I've worn things before and find them comfortable they do help eliminate VPL when wearing leggings.
I can only imagine how you felt having to change into scrubs - OR locker rooms aren't the most private places to change - I've has concern in the past changing in the gym locker room being shaved from the neck down and having my toe nails painted - was never bothered by anyone so just take it in stride now when I go (which isn't near as often as it should be)

A little story about my butt. The first time my wife and I met in person was at a wine festival. I noticed she kept standing behind me. She later told me she could t stop looking at my tush! I had nothing to do with it I was just born with a nice butt.
I were panties every day. In the summer I wear light women’s shorts. Some have very thin material and I know they sometimes show my panties, I’ve checked in the mirror. No one has ever commented about my panty lines but if someone did I’d probably just giggle, blush and say thanks. (!)

@splitdecision I know the feeling darlin’ I’ve never dared to wear women’s shorts in public. Do you get a lot of courage and I guess your wife doesn’t mind you wearing panties and having a woman’s butt lol.
@jasminejeffries75 sweetie you should give it a try. I stealth dress often and shorts are a perfect way to do it. The women’s shorts I have at first glance don’t look unlike men’s and most people really aren’t looking that close.
Besides the cut, women’s shorts have a few distinct features. The zipper is shorter (unless there high waisted) the pockets are shallower and some have no back pockets at all. The material is generally thinner and softer than men’s. The women’s cut fits my physique nicely. Pair it with a women’s cut T and you have a cute little outfit you can wear anytime. As for my spouse she is aware of the panties but not the stealth dressing.

@splitdecision I think I am going to buy some women’s shorts. I never have wore them specially in public, but I would love to wear them, but my legs don’t look as beautiful as they used to. I don’t feel comfortable showing my legs without my pantyhose. No fun getting old.

if your worried about appearance especially your legs I’d try shorts with a longer inseam. Many girl shorts have a 5/6 or shorter inseam.
I have one 5 inch pair but most of mine are 9 inches or longer which I’m more comfortable wearing.

this is my first summer shaving my legs. It was winters only for two or three years. I’m 62, but I like my legs bare (or in hose), so I bought some pretty short shorts and went for it! It’s fantastic!
@kristacrawford1967 You will love smooth summer legs, and no one will care. I have shaved, and now wax, my legs for 35ish years with rarely a comment. Though I did have a woman tell me the other day my legs looked better than her's.
@jjandme I am definitely in the "smooth all over" body camp and I have been for many years. (That was a nice compliment about your legs).
@splitdecision I used to stealth dress “a lot” in my working career. It is interesting how you can duplicate almost every piece of mens apparel with a women’s version and go undetected. People pay no attention, especially these days. I once gave a presentation at my company completely dressed in women’s wear that looked like I was wearing a sportcoat and slacks. Black pantyhose and dress shoes too. I used to do it all the time and loved it.
@splitdecision My wife gave me a couple pair of her shorts that no longer fit her. I've worn them out on several occasions, with her knowledge, and as you say they aren't much different from men's. The ones I have are cargo shorts and with the exception of the zipper being on the other side and the pockets being shallow there is no difference. When I wear them I do carry a bag for my things as the pockets aren't big enough to hold my things, I see that as another added benefit. It is fun to stealth dress.

@cdsue most of my girl shorts are of the cargo type. The inseam is a little shorter than the guy version also. I often wear women’s polo shirts as part of my outfit. Not much different from the drab version other than the buttons are on the other side. Even thought my stealth wear is similar to men’s I know the difference and it’s more fun shopping in the women’s department !!

a constant thought that goes through my head is if someone could see my pantie lines. I like to think that they can and it feels me with happiness ❤️
