My wardrobe is bursting, so I started purging a few things. Who needs 30+ each of jeans, dresses, tops... I do. As I pulled everything out and looked it over, a part of me noticed...
I have cute outfits that I'll never wear anywhere unless I go dressed fully CDed.
I have cute outfits that I could wear sort of in male mode.
I have cute outfits that will never look right on me.
I keep them all because they identify a part of me. But I rarely wear them.
If only I could commit to being a CD or not, then nothing in my poor closet would be sitting around, feeling wasted.
So I purged some and kept most.
Disclaimer: No heels were harmed or purged in this exercise. It's too hard to find my size and someday I hope to walk in each of them more freely.
Lol, I have the same issue, Lea, my closets are overflowing, but I just cant take that step to get rid of anything, just yet.
Each item I have, has been purchased with excitement and enjoyment, and while some may never see the light of day outside the home, I will enjoy wearing them indoors.
However, I know I must one day make room, I'll just have to put on my big girl panties, and cry quietly

This kind of purge is good - it opens up closet space for new stuff!
But I agree, you have to decide how "full time" you're going to be. With the amount of time Julie spends Out and About, I can justify having 5 skirts that look similar.
I have never purge except to toss out clothes that no longer fit. When I first started getting dress around age of 12 I could fit in size 10 but now I am 72 years old. Most of my jeans and dresses are more like 18 or around that size.
Always love shopping for new things and of course love new panties.
