So, after my first session in the chat room, Shanna decided to go out and take out the trash. This was the first time that Shanna had been allowed out of the house then I return to the Chat room. I think I must’ve stayed way too long because all too soon it was after 2 AM. The old adage ” don’t drink and dress” should have held true! But the pink fog had descended!
Sure enough I headed out for a first-ever brief stroll around the block. The excitement totally consumed me. The hug of my pantie girdle and swish of skirt against my stockings was divine. I’d never felt a breeze on my hosed legs before, and it was spellbinding.
We come to the first issue: I have always loved the click-clack of heels on my floors inside. However, outside at 2:34 am (time recorded from my doorbell camera), heels on the sidewalk sound like firecrackers! But, emboldened by my chat with my sisters, I pressed on, thinking that every window would light up from the noise. All was well, and I felt more confident with each stride. Then I turned for home….
Issue 2: I chose a gravel path to return. Normally might not have been a problem, but the added noise of gravel crunching beneath my cute red heels startled me, and I stepped off the path. This is the PNW, so the grass was …. Soft. My heel immediately sank into the grass. First thought? “These are suede! Imma ruin my lovely shoes!”. Secondary thought: “Get back on the path!” (Girl has to have her priorities straight). I crunched my way home along the path at a good clip, and clattered along the sidewalk for the last few yards.
This whole thing was a total of 5 minutes, but seemed like about 30!
Later that day, I revisited the path in drab - I found several heel marks, indicating the lesser spotted Shanna had passed by! There’s photos of my “Shanna Tracks”on my page - and a poor one of the outfit I had on for my first command performance!
Anyway, thought this was amusing for my first outing, and hope you enjoyed reading it! (We’ll see if there is a part deux!)
Kisses,
Shanna
Hi Shanna-
Know the feeling! I wear flats on my walks because of the noise heels make (Sometimes I convince myself everyone is awake and just waiting for Lauren to make an appearance). Rough pavement can do a job on your heel tips but in my neighborhood sidewalks are not always available. But you got me thinking- maybe I'll take stroll in heels one of these days. Great story!
Well done Shanna for allowing that pink fog moment. You learned some lessons to take forward but overall the elation and feeling was worth it. So on to next time....
The pink fog has been intense this week - bank account suffered, but wardrobe benefitted! I’m happy with all that has taken place this week - it’s been a big one!
After a few trips to the shopping mall, I found that heels are not the best thing to wear, the floors are slippery and noisy and escalators can be a bit of a minefield. I have found that unless the ground is perfect for heels then a pair of white trainers works best for me (my latest photo in my profile shows the footwear).
LOL but you might want to avoid gravel as it will cut and tear up your good shoes.
It wasn’t so late at night or should I say so early in the morning 🥰 my first time, but you are definitely right, the thrill of the cool air touching your inner thighs, the click of your heels, but mostly, is someone looking at me. Congratulations, keep on dressing ❤️❤️❤️
Congratulations on stepping out Shanna! *hugs* That's a big step. Now with each further step, the rewards will only increase exponentially!
Shanna -
What a wonderful experience for you. I understand about the heels and the soft grass. I took the dog out one morning (4:30 am) in heels and they sank right into the ground. Spent the time walking on tippy toes, learned not to wear heels in grass or soft surfaces. I do love the sound of heels on hard surfaces. Hope you get the opportunity to get out again soon.
XOXO
Suzanne
Welcome, Shanna! We might be neighbors! Your comment about the breeze on your hosed legs really got me. I remember that feeling my first time out, too! Walking up the driveway from the truck where I gone for a nighttime drive to the store in a leopard print miniskirt and stockings, makeup, the works. Never made it out of the truck that time, but it set the stage for all of my outing since.
Glad to have you here with us. A great bunch of gals here!
