I had an interesting shopping experience yesterday. I was at Target and found a waist cincher. Hmm, I thought, I wonder if this will work for me?... What size do I need?... Can I try it on without being embarrassed to carry it into the fitting room? After circling the fitting room area, a couple times, I walked in and found an empty room. As I'm trying on this cincher with it's 57 hooks, I looked at the garments left by other shoppers. Hanging there was this mock turtle neck, sleeveless, below the knee, black sweater dress... In a XXL. What the heck I thought and tried it on. It fit so nicely but I put it back on the hanger and walked out without it. I told my wife about it and she said that if I liked it, I should go back and get it. But, now the dressing room was occupied and I couldn't find the same size on the rack. (After asking a SA where I could find it). Mrs Bobbie stayed at the fitting rooms and was able to retrieve the dress for me while I searched the store for another. Two lessons here...1... You never know where you're going to find that item that you "have to have". 2... Having a supportive and helpful SO is priceless!
I hada similar experience. I was trying oo a bra at VS and on the back of the door was a pink Tee. It ws very thin and stretchy so I tried it on and it felt great. When I asked about it at the cashier desk the SA said it was a por otion, but tney were all out. I guess I should have just bought the sample in the dressing room, but didn't.
