Showing my id & the drag queen

Many of you may have been in chat when i mentioned this.  I was in Birmingham AL for two days and nights and had lots of opportunity to dress.  I stayed in Five Points area which has lots of restaurants and pubs in walking distance.  I went out mid to late afternoon both days in leggings and a dress one day and longer cowl neck sweater the other and stopped in a few places to get a beer and eat.  None was crowded on night one and i had dinner and two beers in one place then two beers in place two and never got a second look fro what i could tell.  Place two was next to the hotel.  For night two I planned to do the same with different place for dinner.  SO I went and had dinner and a beer at one place, stopped to get a beer at another place.  Both places had women there alone having a beer as well so I did not fell out of place.  Finally I made my way to the pub next to the hotel and it is a bit crowded and the guy is asking for ID.  I'm looking inside and there is obviously a drag queen in there and there are tables set up for some type of event.  So I just pulled out my id, showed it to him, and went on in without comment.  Got some glances but it may have been due to the crowd and people wondering.  I didn't care.  Two beers and working on my lap top passed time while they had a bingo fundraiser.  The drag queen was from RuPaul Drag Race and a local.
