The manager at a local charity shop is a gay man, and one that likes to drag up now and then. He knows of my little secret, and has seen pictures.
I had a load of bags that I wanted to drop off to him, so I phoned ahead to make sure he was in today. He was.
I loaded the car with 4 large bags and popped around.
As I walked in he was stocking a shelf so he has his back to me. I tapped him on the shoulder and he turned around.... "What do you think?", I asked him. His words were "Amazing! You look amazing. Until you spoke I had no idea it was you". TBF, I knew that I looked amazing. 30 minutes doing my make up and hair this morning, and lord knows how long choosing the outfit, ensured that 🙂 but it was nice to hear it from another. 🙂

My first trip to White House Black Market with my wife to go shopping, the sales associate who had brought me some burgundy pleather leggings & a sweater said to me when I came out of the dressing room: “That outfit is SO cute on you! And you certainly have the legs for it!” Made me feel like a million bucks! Of course I bought the outfit, so her evil plan worked!
The whole point was to reduce my wardrobe, not add to it!!!! 🙂
