I had some Maive time and decided to practice my makeup. I cleaned up, shaved and such then dressed to the point of applying makeup. Once done I looked in the mirror and felt all was good! I liked what I saw looking back. At that point I gathered all the encouragement from CDH, put on a sweater due to the weather and for the first time headed out the door! I got in my vehicle and started driving feeling finally free. I pulled into a little thrift store and after a few deep breaths I walked in! I have never been in public before! What an overwhelming feeling. And I owe it all to you girls! After about a half hour shopping, I paid for the few items I bought and headed out. Back in my vehicle I was overwhelmed. I had to tell someone, so I texted a friend. The only one that knows I cross dress. She was so happy for me. I drove to a park and sat by a pond and enjoyed Maive outside on a beautiful day!! I talked to my friend on the cell phone and tried to describe the feeling, which she knew so well. It was an amazing first time out. Can't wait for the next. Thank you, girls, for the encouragement. This is really an amazing group to be a part of!!
Maive, once you've done it there's no going back. It's the best felling maybe better than that first time you pulled on a new pair of panties that you bought yourself.
Good for you girl. Now it only gets easier and more thrilling so enjoy the journey
👏🎉😊💐🌹 Happy for you Maive. A half hour of shopping in your first outing in public!
Onward!
GOOD FOR YOU! The fear is unfounded. Don’t look at others, just look to yourself and see the wonderful world you are in. My first time out, I was not aware of the crowd around, just me in my space. Now, seems natural as breathing. So proud you did it without sisters on hand to support, but we were there in spirit.
Thanks for sharing, Maive. That is why I love CDH, we all can share our adventures. That is how I got the courage for my first adventure out as Cassie. Now over the next 3 or 4 days I will go to the dentist, go to the accupuncturist, and get my nails done at a salon. ALL DRESSED AS CASSIE. Cassie
It must have been wonderful for you Maive. So many of us have had the good fortune to be able to break free and I am delighted to hear your wife is understanding and you have a friend to confide in. The door has opened to more trips out and being yourself.
Thank you for sharing.
Congrats Maive! I have to warn you though, going out dressed gets very addictive. Enjoy!
Congratulations! What a fabulous and brave step for you! I hope it leads to many more 🙂
It was all you. Congratulations.
That is so awesome maive! I'm so proud if you! You are so brave and beautiful and don't let anyone hold you back from being happy! Congrats girl!
Had it in you all along didn’t you? Good for you. Welcome out!
Maive,
Getting across the threshold of anxiety and going out is such an amazing feeling, isn’t it!
Just taking time to connect with the natural world as your femme self can be so rewarding. At least it is for me!
Congratulations!

There are usually stages to going out.
Going out for a drive at night.
Going out for a walk at night (Drive to a park, or car park and get out of the car).
Go for a walk from home at night. Risk getting seen by the neighbours.
Going for a drive and going for a walk in the day time.
Going for a walk from home in the day time.
Going out in the day time, going into a shop and interacting with people.
You seem to have jumped all the normal stages, and gone for the jackpot!
That was incredibly brave of you! Well done. That's it. Now you've done it and realised that no one give a damn, keep on doing it! After a while it becomes normal. You'll soon be popping to the shops without a care for what you are wearing.

Well done Maive! Exciting isn’t it?
