About a year ago I bought a red dress I really liked until it arrived and I tried it on. It's more form fit than I like and it really showed how fat I am. I hid it in the closet and forgot about it. About a month ago I saw it and tried it on. Not having a desk job anymore helped it fit better. I'm still too fat for it (not that fat, just in my late 50's lol), but my wife likes it, and I do too. I'm going to start wearing it once a week for motivation to keep losing the weight. I want this belly gone and can't wait to fit in this wonderful dress right

@kapt I have that well known girl struggle too.

Might be a good incentive to trim some. That's my new resolution... I want to fit better into dresses.

I've found layering a thick skirt under can help with hiding some of that with a slimming contour. Shape wear is mixed for me... seems to just shift the fat elsewhere worse.

@lea-jhene I wish I could post photos here. It's a really nice dress, and even with a bit of a bulging tummy it looks very nice

@kapt Rikki, there are many safe ways of losing weight, today, but it still wouldn't hurt to discuss you plan with your doctor first.

I chose to do what is commonly known as intermittent fasting, by cutting out breakfast. It helped immensely with a complicated medicine schedule, too, but that is beside the point. It works if you cut out snacks at the same time, too.

Good luck with your goal to fit your clothes better!

@kapt I love this. I bought a ball gown (also in red) that I can only just squeeze into. I am contemplating having mine altered.

Ah, close fitting clothes that show your belly....

You'll notice that nearly every photo I post is direct front on... There's a reason for that 🙂

Wear that dress! If it makes you feel good, wear it!

i got a little more belly than i want. not much but want to be a little flatter. i was thinking about CoolSculpting. they freeze the fat you want to loose in certain area to shape your body. check it out.

@kapt Steel-boned corsets are a thing and looking good in something you love does wonders for your confidence.

Just sayin' 😉

I've inherited some dresses from my supportive wife that I haven't bothered wearing out yet due to not being satisfied with how snugly they fit my body, but I want to wear them so much! This need to wear them has given me the will to go on a diet for the last 6 months (Factor, if you're curious) and to stick with it until my birthday this summer, where I will treat myself to a new corset. I'm probably at my healthiest that I've been in decades, thanks to crossdressing. See what happens when you can live your life on your own terms? Good luck to you with getting in shape and I hope one day you find yourself looking at your reflection and seeing a happy girl with that fetching red dress on and loving it.

Obviously not only a dress but an incentive as well. I hope it leads to a healthier lifestyle, weight loss and a great fit. If all that is to much perhaps a girdle will suffice.
