Three months ago today, I joined Crossdresser Heaven.  It has been one of the most rewarding things I've ever done on the Internet.  I've made numerous acquaintances, shared some experiences, learned from the experiences of others, and had my eyes opened to the social and emotional challenges associated with being a crossdresser.  I can only imagine what the next three months will bring.

From time to time I go to my home page and click the Forums link to reread my early posts, plus all the wonderful heartfelt replies, some of which brought me to happy tears.  I had big aspirations in those first few weeks, especially since I made many early strides.  My expectation was to get Charmagne out into the public sometime in 2019, which arrives shortly.  Part of that would involve learning the basics of makeup.  I figured that by Thanksgiving weekend I could get that ball rolling.  Life got in the way.  Doesn't it always?  But I have amassed quite a collection of lingerie, loungewear, half a dozen beautiful dresses and a couple of pairs of shoes.  Which is more than enough for now.

I also had an opportunity to assess my goals as well as risk/reward scenarios.  As exciting as going out in public sounded to me originally, there are loved ones who stand to be hurt if I make a careless mistake.  Thus, I've chosen to cool my jets a little and just enjoy my daily time as Charmagne in the privacy and safety of my own home.  It brings me great joy, and I fear that trying to achieve a milestone that I'm not really ready for, will put that joy in jeopardy.  I still want to learn enough about makeup to become presentable in photos that I can share with my sisters here at CDH.

I want to thank all my sisters here for a wonderful 3 months and many more to come.  Happy New Year, love and hugs to all of you.  And I'll see you around the site every day.

Charmagne,

Happy 3 months!  I just reached the 6th month mark this past Thursday.  And your post echoes a lot of my feelings about being here.  I am still not out the door yet as well. I appreciate and respect your decision and please know that I am always rooting for you, Cheerleader style!

Hugs,

Michelle

Hey Charmagne. Happy 3 months, I'm not quite there yet. I could easily repeat most of your sentiments, It's an awesome community to be part of, and its having girls like yourself investing their time, experience and caring attitude that makes it so. Thank You for helping to make it place we want to continue to spend at. I look forward to the future with people like yourself in it. Happy wishes for 2019

Awww what a lovely post! well done on reaching your 3 months with us! I second everything you say about CDH. For me as well, its been the most inspiring thing ive done on the 'net, time well spent! my only big regret is, I should have done it way sooner, but better late than never! Take care Charmagne!

Hello Charmagne; Congrats on your 3 month CDH anniversary from when you posted this. It's a great idea to review your progress and re-evaluate your goals from time to time. Reaching milestones can put us at such a heightened state of joy that we may not consider the harm an unsuccessful attempt might cause. It's best to slow down if we're not fully ready to take the next step or to face the aftermath of that step. I hope 2019 has been positive for you.

What a great post Charmagne!  Congratulations on the strides you have made.  You will know when the time is right to go out, but be proud of where you are now.  I could not agree with you more on the great support and friends you make in this wonderful community.  Enjoy your en femme time.
