Ok, today I took a baby step towards public CDing, don't laugh but all I did was slip on a bra & cami, popped in my breast forms - so far so good - then pulled on a tight t-shirt, unlocked the back door and took the garbage bag down the driveway to the side of the road. On yhe way back I picked up the newspaper (knelt down, knees to the side) and strolled back in through the gate. Doesn't sound much does it and next to the tales of trips downtown and farther afield that I have been reading about here it isn't , BUT - I am still shaking with excitement I guess - ok so it was early and no-one was out, but for me this is high adventure and it's all down to the inspiring girls on this site. Will it happen again? Will I go further? Time will tell - watch this space. Breathlessly Diana
That's a great step Diana, as a matter of fact that was exactly the first step I took. Scared to death but excited beyond belief. That first step will lead to great strides and one day you will find yourself strolling thru a mall enjoying yourself like never before.

Thank you Sandy, your support is so wonderful and if it wasn't for the ability to talk about crossdressing with the ladies here I would still be cowering inside with the curtains closed. Will I/can I go further ? We shall see.

Your right Diana, just reading all the stories here can/will build your confidence. I know Iv'e been a member here since Sept of 2019 and after reading so many of the stories I ventured out to a couple of rest stops along the nearby interstate highway here last spring ( early morning before 7 am), there I was seen only at a distance. Then this past Aug with my now shoulder length hair I decided to make an apt. at Ulta to cover my gray hair, when I made the apt. I told them I was a crossdresser. The whole time I was making the apt. I was having a little trouble breathing, soooooo nervous. When I went to the apt. I was dressed in fem and was treated very nice. I never would have had the courage to do any of these things if it weren't for CDH.
Since that time I've also come out to 3 of my 4 brothers,. I talked to each one face to face, the last 2 I was dressed in fem. I just wish I had some one else to share these adventures weather another crossdresser or a GG friend or family member.
