I think my crossdressing had a big influence on wanting to get in better shape. I started a workout routine earlier on this year. I am no means wanting to bulk up and be more masculine by no means. Basically I started following and practicing workout routines of women around my age group on different social platforms. Mostly learning how to tone my figure arms, legs waist etc. I have found some pretty cool stuff like exercises that help with increasing your chest ,hips and buttocks areas to help get that hour glass figure, which I doubt I will be accomplishing Smile Laugh but worth trying. Finally since Im out to my wife I can wear some pretty cute workout outfits as well . Maybe one day I'll brave it and jog around neighborhood in a sporty crop top and yoga shorts with my high pony tail blowing in the wind.A girl can dream can't she.

@rickialan Were I younger I would work out to keep my figure. These days the bones don't like moving in ways that would be necessary to make the muscles more toned and the fat disappear. I think I could have enjoyed Jazzercize or even Yoga and Pilates, but not now.

@cherylt Walk. Walk. Walk.

I walk everywhere that I can. You could even dress for the part. Just wear appropriate shoes.

@rickialan Hi Ricki, I workout with weights 3 times a week and walk 10 to 15 thousand steps daily.

I try to keep my spare tire at bay!!

@rickialan walking is definitely good for the body, especially if a little dressing can be mixed in.

Last summer my wife and I walked our dog on vacation and went to a coffee shop with me fully enfemme.

Hi Ricki, I go running daily after work and I have certainly lost weight as a result and my body is in the best shape it probably has been. Got to the stage where I ran the Manchester 10K in a time of 53.37 at the weekend, something I couldn't even contemplate doing even 12 months ago. Could probably get away with wearing crop tops and short skirts too but Lizzy is a classy lady...

@rickialan thanks took a lot of training to get that time not quite a marathon just a 10K (just over 6 miles) so not quite up to a marathon yet. But who knows one day...

@lizzy89 At 50 years old I started training from 0 km and within 2 years ran the Vancouver marathon.

Good job on the 10k, keep on running

@carolinecd306 thanks I initially started with couch to 5K during Covid walking at first but gradually progressed to running.

@judevderl Thanks thinking of entering another 10K later this year and hopefully beat that time. But still proud of that one as it was a very warm day when I did it.

I try to cycle as much as I can, my knees won't let me run.

Up until about three years ago I used a standard mountain bike but as I got older, the call of the electric bike grew stronger. It's not that I needed an electric bike to get around, but where I live is extremely hilly and while I can get up and down them, it is a very slow affair. Now, with the e-bike, I can use exactly the same amount of energy over the same time cycling, but in that same time, I can get so much further and see more of our wonderful countryside.

I was always of the opinion that e-bikes were 'cheating' but I see the big advantage now. I still have to pedal, it just flattens the hills a little.

No, I don't cycle en femme 🙂

@rebeccabaxter I agree! Cycling for me because of Achilles tendinitis… but no e-bikes! Those hills are the calorie burners! The killer is coming DOWN hill- cools me down too much… it’s fine whilst pedalling hard.

love to you all

Chrissie

Haven't tried an e bike  but they do look like they would be fun though.

Hi Ricki. Well done on starting an exercise routine. Looking forward to hearing you say that you've been out pounding the pavements 'en femme'.

I have some active hobbies but have never gone 'en femme'. Now the weather is warming up I'm getting back into walking to work rather than taking the tube.

The good thing about any form of exercise is that (hopefully) it makes you feel good and if you feel good you'll (also hopefully) look good. Very beneficial for a CD life! A win, win situation!

I have been out running, hiking or cycling en femme and it is a wonderful way to get some excercise, and help my girlish figure...well, one can dream.

I get up early every morning and go water-walking in waist-deep water at my local pool. I do a mile, including running a quarter mile of that (in a series of 11 40-year dashes) Besides the water, my gender is also fluid; pool management is so OK with that they've issued me a duplicate ID card for Kendra, and I change in the "Family Changing Room". Side benefit? I'm kind of on "independent study" with the aqua instructor. Her classes are almost all women, and Kendra is a very accepted regular at monthly group social outings... 🌹

Sounds like a fun workout, your instructor sounds like a wonderful person too. Lol water gender fluidity reference. 😄
