I am more than just a body with parts;
The sum of my existence covers a lot more ground,
Than the sexual organs I was born with.
Than the genes I was determined to have.
Than the skin that wraps my bones.
I could fill an ocean with my tears,
A library with my stories,
A world with my life.
My life is more than a headline.
You will not read who I am,
You will never hold me in your hands,
You may never see my fear, my love, my anger, my pain.
You can never understand these things of mine.
You just can't.
I can't show them to you.
If you asked me to sum myself up in a word, I could not.
If you asked me to sum up who and what and how I am,
It would take volumes and volumes
And there would never be an audio book because nobody will speak for me,
Nobody will talk in my name, write in my name,
Nobody will hold my name in any light that I do not carry or cast.
Nobody will cast me off of my alter, my soap box, my mic, my stand.
Nobody will say "Oh, he can't do that."
Oh, but yes sirs and madams I say SHE can.
And to my brothers, sisters, and non-binary siblings I tell you SHE can.
And she will.
Because I am me.
And I am more…

I am more than enough I am free to be me hear me roar!!
I've just read some of your poems and though I find several quite dark, I can understand why and relate to them. Keep up the good work and keep yourself together. You have the right to be who you are.
