A blind man doing a parachute jump,
raising money for the guide dog school,
jumping out of a plane unable to see,
ten thousand feet up, is that cool???.
He'd tried it before, it felt wonderful,
a real fast way of raising some cash,
as he plummets to earth in just seconds,
there's no panic it is done in a flash!!!!.
Asked, how do you know when to land??
his reply made me gasp and step back,
I know when I'm getting near the ground,
the lead on my guide dog goes slack!!!!!
no dogs were injured during the writing of this poem
