I have found that MacKenzie comes out most frequently when I need to unwind. She allows me to step out of the humdrum of the daily life. The more hectic that my job has been lately, the more often that MacKenzie is needed.
With a stressful academic year coming to end over the next few weeks, MacKenzie has been more important than ever. Allowing myself to be MacKenzie more outwardly has proven more of a stress reliever than I could have hoped. And she does need the pretty clothes; a casual outfit works just fine as long as the clothes are MacKenzie's. Right now, a simple pair of capris, bra, panties, and t-shirt are just what she needs.
'MacKenzie in the Mind' - if that's what helps you to calm, relax a bit more or just enjoy life more then go for it.
It's my 'safe place' too, somewhere I go, either physically with crossdressing or just emotionally, to feel calmer and to overcome the stresses of uncomfortable situations.
That's something that gives us an advantage over 'ordinary' people.
