There are several Los Angeles bar/club scenes for us to attend.

These are the bars and clubs I've been to dressed up.

Hollywood Area:

The Abbey - O<span style="line-height: 1.5;">pen to all walks of life</span>

Mickey's - Mostly gay but all are welcomed

Rage - Also mostly gay but all are welcomed.

Arena - Mostly gay and latin. Has shows and performances regularly.

Circus - All walks of life welcomed and 3-4 different types of music rooms. Also has shows and performances. Location is somewhat hidden from the main street but it is located behind Arena.

Van Nuys area:

Oxwood Inn - One of my favorites. Caters to all walks of life and some of the friendliest people I've met.

SAT

Orange County Area:

El Calor - Predominantly latin crowd and music but and open to all. Also has shows and performances regularly.

More so a reply for the UK girls here especially Alice. I do a bit of Dj'ing in Newcastle although not in the pink triangle, unfortunately the North East of England doesn't seem to really cater specifically for us trans girls yet!

My favourite nights out are a short couple of hours drive away to Blackpool and it's North Shore area around Lord Street. Trans specific hotels....... Got to mention my favorite, Scarlet's, aptly named lol. All the bar's, club's in the area are VERY t-girl friendly and walking around from bar to bar is very safe and there are plenty of us girls around to give any first timers plenty of support and reassurance. Peek-a-booze was probably the best of the selection and the welcome and caberet in there is a great laugh!

In my neck of the woods it doesn't seem that there is any support groups active.

Vanessa, the link you have is somewhat good but very outdated as I have come across quite a few dead websites or groups the haven't been active in several years.

I love the idea of putting it out there as to where YOU know is either a support group or TG friendly establishments.

Thanks, yes it's an old list I've tried to keep up to date, but has grown stale over the years unfortunately.

Would you be interested in helping me keep the list up to date?

I have it perpetually on my todo list, and perpetually I find myself swamped with other things (like launching the Forums and Community) 🙂

In Albuquerque NM there is the Transgender Resource Center of New Mexico. This is a very supportive and is very active in LBGT events. There are transfeminine meetings (you don't have to be transgendered to attend), Transmasculine meetings and LGBT youth meetings plus rainbow meetings for friends, family, and any one with an interest in LGBT  activities.
