Fully Dressed

So Ladies, Here I am. Please be gentle but honest.

I think the only thing I can criticize (since you asked) is chin up a bit and smile.
Otherwise as Fernando Lamas (Billy Crystal) would say "You look marvelous!!!"

It's funny you all say "Smile". I don't think I have a single picture where I am smiling, even my wedding pictures and that was the happiest day of my life. Because of this, I was given the nick name "GRUMPY". LOL

Hi Amber, congrats on getting fully dressed. I think the outfit looks great.

Like you said the wig is so/so.  When you find the right one it will make

a huge difference. You'll know the right one because when you put

it on and look in the mirror you'll probably get a chill up your spine

Hi Amber, you great for your first time ! And yes , a smile would be nice to see but never the less you look awesome ! I just got a new wig too, and cant wait to see myself all dolled up either!

A smile does it all, Amber.  Nothing like a smile to brighten up your appearance and put people around you at ease.

Amber,You look great.When you find the right wig you will know it,a sudden calm will come over you and your smile will light up your face.When I am fully dressed a feeling of being complete comes over me .When I am out with friends I am accepted as female and if I dont completely pass, at this time of my life, I dont worry so much about it.Take yourself out dress shopping and have fun with it.Enjoy your feminity.

There are so many positives in your story, one being that you shared the experience with your wife. That says you have acceptance and support  already so going out can come later.

I think the outfit looks great. Personally I don't think Amber's nickname needs to be grumpy. Think of what you've achieved and allow yourself to be happy. Male mode photos can be grumpy but it's time for Amber to shine from the pictures with a beaming smile.

Let me add to the chorus. You look wonderful. And I understand about the smile. If I think about it, my smile looks forced and unconvincing. So my best smiles are when I'm not focused on me, but on the fun things that are happening around me.

And even bigger congratulations on taking this next step in your journey. I know it's a big step and hope you are enjoying it.

And I kind of like your wig. But I'm a sucker for redheads and bangs.

Hi Amber, totally agree with everyone's comments. Great outfit (I especially like the skirt). A really sincere smile exudes confidence and that helps when going out in public. With wigs, I have several colors. The one closest to my natural hair color (before getting gray) tends to work best with my skin tone. Just experiment and have fun. I bought my last wig at a CD shop where they helped me try on a dozen or more wigs to try different colors and styles. Have a great rest of the week!!!

You know I did. I bought a pair of spring time colored wedges with open toe and ankle strap. They are soon cute.

When I so finally make that step to go outside the comfort of my house fully dressed and not just in my girl jeans or wearing my heels it will be all because you are all there with me, cheering me on.
