I was born in 1944, and women’s fashion styles from about 1950 to 1965 imprinted my tastes in lingerie, intimate apparel, and outwear that I like to wear. I have no desire to wear slacks, pants suits, or shorts. I always wear a dress, skirt and blouse, or a skirt suit. I also love nylon tricot slips (full and half), camisoles, and nylon tricot brief style panties. I prefer patent high-heel closed-toed pumps, and often wear them whether dressed somewhat casually or “all dolled up”. I’d love to hear from other girls who like the styles I described.

I do so agree with you. I was born in 1954 and all the women in my life were ladies. Very seldom did you see one in anything but a dress or skirt and blouse. That is how I love to dress. I love skirts and blouses, and have a few dresses but my figure doesn't go so well with them, so then it is a girdle to help that belly bulge.. thanks

I share your love of vintage lingerie and I believe for similar reasons.
Unfortunately, it isn't so easy to find the vintage designs anymore. How sad for us. I love wearing the layers of lingerie in a manner that it was worn in the late 1800's or first half of the 1900's.
I wish there were a source for "new" vintage designed lingerie that is sized for us plus size gurls. If anyone knows of a source, please post a link.
