Hey, all!

During your lives, when you studied, or if you still study, in high school, college, university, or anything really, did you ever struggle, or overexert yourself too much, that every day just seems so tiring, yet you loved what you were doing so much that you kept doing it over and over?

I currently feel like that. I am studying two degrees at once at 21 years old, so I am happy to have those small little days off, and just have some fun, but I love my studies and wondered if there are others who have also done this, just to see.

Sincerely,

Alexis.

Hi Alexis I'm Steffani. I am actually finishing up my degree for December graduation. I study communications and have a lot of extra things that have to do outside the class room. I Deffinitly enjoy all of it though. What are you studying?

Alexis,

I understand the feeling. I am a middle school teacher. There are days at a stretch, I feel that I can never get ahead between planning and grading. This is especially true at the end of each quarter when grades come due. Thankfully, I learned years ago that sometimes I just a day to myself when I refuse to do any work. These days have always allowed me to maintain my sanity over the past 17 years.

Hello, Mackenzie.

Sounds like you have it rough, but do you enjoy what you do?

Hello Steffani.

Currently, I'm studying Video Game Design & development, and psychology at once. Little much to learn in one year, but I love both.

Of course, I love teaching. It is the paperwork that I hate. Besides, the overload usually only happens at the ends of each quarter.

Very cool combination Alexis. Also cool to see another young lady on here. We should talk more.

Alexis,

I recently did a study on Islam trying to use the history of its development to understand its dynamics and heart.  I found myself often having internal conversations late into the night where I would argue through information from different sources to put things together.  I have often found when studying, that it becomes difficult at times to turn the mind off and sleep time shrinks.  But I would not have it any other way.  It is tiring, a break is absolutely needed to keep one fresh.  But there is an exhilaration that comes from seeing interconnections and nuance that is hard to resist.  Good luck with your studies; you are taking an interesting combination that should work well together after school.
