Hello to all, I'm Alexis a married 53 life long gender challenged who has struggled most of my life to figure out why I feel this way. Tried to stop several times in my life, in high school I played sports and later enlisted in the Army trying to prove to myself I was "NORMAL". Married twice, first wife left me for another man, kind of don't blame her as I seemed to be angry all the time and self loathing which lead to lot's of arguing,I truly believe I was angry all the time because I was not able to be myself. I found myself signal again and yes the first thing I did was go shopping for my fem things. Five years later I met my current wife, I was upfront and honest with her from the start. She excepted me for who I am and supports my life. Proud to say this April we will have been married 19-years.
I hope to find others in my situation, and share our stories, pains, and success's in life.

Well Alexis ,
Great introduction , congratulations on 19 years of marriage , you're very lucky to have an understanding SO, I chuckled when I saw you joined the military so you could prove that you were a man. Thanks for your service . I had joined the fire brigade for the same reason, that actually brought out the female side of me even more .
Great to have you in the community .
