I am scared to step outside as my real self and am tired of only being me alone at home. How do I take that first step?

Hi Breanna, thank you for introducing yourself. My sense is that a lot of people on this site are in a similar situation, so you are not alone. Let's keep sharing and talking with each other and I think we'll learn a lot about ourselves in the process.
When you say 'step outside' or 'take that first step,' what exactly do you mean? Like, presenting as female to others or in public?
