Hello,I am Lydia and I am a supportive mom of a crossdresser.I am Lisa Elizabeth "Liz" James's mom whom is a member here.I am glad that I rescued her when she was 14 which my husband and I let her in our home after she was kicked out by her own bio parents.Have known Lisa since she was a kid, good friends with my daughter Brandy. After my husband and I let her in our home,We saw her life changed in a positive way even when we adopted her,bio parents signed their parental rights away.My husband and I love and accept Lisa for who she is.I still remember the day I rescued her,was out in the driveway in the rain with her stuff out.I was driving by and saw she was there and stopped opening the passenger side door of my car.Told her get in and I was outraged when this happened. That is not love.Lisa says I am the greatest mom she has ever had.
What a great thing to do. the world is a better place because of you.
Thank you,my husband and I see she has a better life now.I know Lisa well, loves shoes her nickname is "Liz".
That's awesome Lydia for supporting Lisa and welcome to CDH.

Hello Lydia,
Welcome to CHD. Lisa is fortunate to have you in her life and we love to have you here.
I hope you find plenty of information here that you find helpful and interesting. Perhaps we'll even see you in chat some time.
Hi Lydia,
The world needs more people like you Lydia! It is tragic when bio-parents do this to their child. Thanks for intervening and saving Liz from a life which could have been disastrous!
It always pleases me when I see family members join to support their loved one here on CDH!

I known Lisa's life would of been a disaster if I did not do that.Lisa did suffer from PTSD when she was 15 and did see a therapist on this,it was from the abuse she was put through from her bio parents. The bond between my daughter and Lisa began greater too.I admit Lisa is a strong person and does not let anything get in her way.
Hi Lydia, and welcome! Oh my gosh what a terrible story with such a happy ending!! I cannot imagine what Liz has gone through at such an early age. You are truly an incredible person for stepping in and being the Mother she so badly needed. *Big Hugs* to both you and Liz for what life has thrown your way. From the sound of it things are exactly the way they were meant to be now, Liz has the wonderfully loving home she so much deserves. Glad you two are here!
