I don't have too much time this morning, but my name is Holly. I am a 28 year old new cross dresser from TN. Like most, I have experimented with crossdressing since I was a young child. My biggest challenges currently are: telling my wife without losing her, getting my makeup game together, and just feeling comfortable with this whole life. While I do live in a supportive city (for TN at least) my job as a teacher puts discretion at a highest. I am so happy to be here and would love to talk to you all over the next few months!

Welcome Holly. I know from experience that when and how to tell your wife is a difficult decision. I recommend caution. Talk with your councelor/therapist first to come up with a game plan to make sure it is done right. I say this because when I decided to tell my wife about my crossdressing, it blew up in my face and now I am looking at divorce after 21 years of marriage. All I am saying is be careful and make sure she will be receptive to your new news. Again, welcome to the site. Use the chat as much as you can. The ladies here are wonderful! i understand what you are going through i was confronted by my wife and it went all south from there . try to not wait to long she may find out and you cant tell witch way she will go . but this is a very good place to chat about it and is very safe .

Firstly, welcome to CDH. All of the ladies here are so lovely and supportive, and joining this site has helped me a lot.
My situation is very similar to yours - I experimented with crossdressing when I was young and like you, I've not come out to my partner (Elaine) as yet. I'm so scared, and the thought of losing her just kills me. However, the femme part of me is considerable and when I dress, I feel amazing and just so comfortable. I've got to get things going in the make up and wig department, but I'm real excited about doing so. There is so much helpful advice on the site as well. Don't forget, Holly, we only live once, so be true and express your feminine side and above all, be happy.
