I am 59 year old crossdresser from North Carolina and have been wearing womens clothes since I was 12 years. I came out to my wife about 10 years ago. It was ok for about 5 years and after that she said she could not handle it and more so we divorced about 5 years ago and have been on my own ever since so now I can dress anytime I want but am very lonely and would like to find a women that understands what I do. I have never been out in public and cant get up the nerve to try it. Would like to know some girls like myself and not judge me for it!
I am married and I tried to open up to my wife a few months ago but she wasn't to keen on the idea. It's been a little awkward at our house ever since.
Hi Laura, I'm Ally. I'm a couple years younger than you, but I know where you're coming from. I started dressing at the same age. My ex wife knew I was bi from the start, she was as well. We were married for 5 yrs when I became disabled. I was diagnosed with degenerative disc disease. Things changed after that, she started cheating on me with someone she knew from highschool and we separated just before our 8th anniversary. My divorce was finalized in 2011. I've been on my own with a fixed income that doesn't let me do much other than survive. I've never been able to do makeup correctly so I haven't ever had the courage to go out in public either. I don't know if I could do it even if I had someone do my makeup well.

Hey Laura! Right above yo on the map in VA! Closeted C since age 11-currently 51. Married before but my ex never even tolerated it at all and eventually divorced for that among other reasons. That was 10 years ago and the desires have only increased and am now to the point where I am trying to figure out if i have been in denial about being TS for all these years. Don't know yet if transition is in my future but do know I cannot remain closeted just dressing at home. Cynthia needs to get out and into the world! I have progressed toward that a great deal in the past six months and hope to continue his year! I am going to the Southern Comfort Conference in Ft Lauderdale in September!

The reasons for accepting two conditions from my wife to allow me to dress... Never to go out in public and embarrass us... Secondly the family and friends including our kids do not know of it.... I accepted these two conditions as I realized two things... 1. I would be a lot lonely without her and I want to be with my kids and to see them growing up.
Its a compromise I am happy to have made and although I get to dress up very occasionally, I am happy that she is ok with it and I had been out few times briefly while I was overseas. I wish I could dress up and go out more often.
