Hello everyone. Just a little about myself. I love wearing women's clothes. It's not a sexual thing, I just like the look and feel of women's clothes over men's. I also like doing my nails and makeup as well. I wear heels in public and my nails are always polished (both finger and toe nails). So that's just a little bit about me. I hope to hear from you all and who knows, maybe even make some new friends.

I love your bold attitude! I just this week decided to try do do my nails and just deal with it. Only a clear coat mind you, but it is a step! Would love to hear more from you and the other girls as this is the first time I've EVER talked openly about this with others.

I also started off with just a clear coat on my finger nails and used color on my toes. Then one day I said "Why not, it's only nail polish and a lot of guys wear black polish on their nails." So I started using a very pale pink, one that you could barely notice. My wife and I were leaving COSTCO and the girl checking everyones receipts took a double take at my nails and said "Is that pink polish?" I said "Yes." She said "Cool, looks good." And that was all. I have never had anything bad said about wearing polish in public. So give it a try, start out slow and then move on up to bigger and better things. I'm wearing a deep dark blue on my toes and the same on my fingers today. No one ever says anything except good/positive things. Give it a try, you won't be sorry.
I do have to say, it all depends on where you live and what the people are like there. I currently live in a state where people are pretty open minded. My wife and I are getting ready to move to Montana, so I don't know what the reaction will be like there. I will have to start all over again until I can get a feel for the way people think there.

My first step is seeing how my wife handles the whole nail polish thing ???????? i know conservative north Texas would not appreciate too much out in the open but so far so good!
Holly, I have found that there are many colors of nail polish that are very hard to detect. colors like pale or sheer pinks, most peaches and you could try some of the clear glitter polishes. But make sure you look for ones that use either small flakes or just a small amount of glitter. Again, I'm just one of those guys that really don't care what other people think and I started out pretty bold with a fairly bright shade of pink. After that I started going to nail salons and getting mani/pedis done. If you haven't done that yet, it is something you really need to do. It is wonderful.

For me, my nails are the easiest and most expressive way for me to bring out the girl in me and 99% of the time, no one really ever notices but me and my wife. It's something I can do anytime and for the most part it doesn't cost me an arm and a leg to do unlike wanting to buy shoes all the time 😉
I am glad to see there are other folks out there that have the shoe shopping bug all the time! I wear womans size 14 so I have to keep looking!
