Hi Girls,
I'm Lindsay and I just joined this site about a week ago. Really nice to read everyone's introduction and talk with a few of you. I'm feeling social so here's a bunch about me:
I'm in my late 20's and live in the midwest US. I've had an interest in looking like a girl since I was 5 years old when I tried on some girls accessories from a costume bin. I've always had a soft face and narrow bone structure so I've always felt that I just look better as a female instead of struggling to look like a guy. In the past few years I've been going out a lot en femme and loving the freedom of appearing passable.
I have a background in portrait drawing so I have a good understanding of how/why people look a certain way, which is helpful for learning makeup. I also love love love hairstyling and am in the process of growing out my own hair so I am less reliant on wigs. Glad to offer any advice and you'll see me post some hairstyles I create going forward!
I've been private about my female identity but learning that being seen for who I am is so important, which is why I joined this site. Thanks in advance for the support and community we will share here.
Lindsay

Hi Lindsay! I can imagine how difficult it is to cross dress in the Midwest! I grew up in Texas, and learned quickly to suppress that side of myself. It didn't help that I had neither the strength nor courage shown by some if the girls here to "be their true selves"... I wasted too much time trying to be "normal" (which was an impossible, if not herculean task...)

Good for you in pursuing your truth, don't fear the haters!
