I've developed a deep friendship with two computer geeks who run a local computer store.
I like them a lot because we all have basically the same interests in vintage computers and the like.
But there is a definite problem, they hate anything to do with the LGBT society.
And since I'm a crossdresser, I'm included in that hate.
Should I drop them as friends, or just keep my crossdressing a deep secret from them, and thus continue our friendship.
What do I do?
HELP!
I don't see any reason to drop them, you have a common interest which could be beneficial all round.
You could also question their hatred of 10% of the population and the logic behind it with no need to 'out' yourself at any time. In time you could convert them from haters into allies.
Hugs
Sheryl
Do you like them as people?
If 'no' - drop them, if 'yes' keep them as friends. Your crossdressing is not part of the equation unless you want to make it so.
As Sheryl says, you have a chance to find out why they think as they do. there's no need to expose your own interests.
