I was at the mall food court today with a friend playing UNO. When she went out for a smoke I stayed at the table with our bags. A teenager came by selling candy bars to raise money which at first I declined. He asked if he could play so I agreed until my friend returned. We were enjoying the game when I heard from behind me "don't let him beat you mom". I pretended not to hear the mistake and responded with something like "he's got me beat" as I saw the smiling elderly gentleman pass. The kid caught it and asked if I had heard the man all me mom. I brushed it off but I was thrilled. Even in male clothing I am beginning to effect a feminine aura.

How delightful Claire! I 've never gotten "mom'd" but I have had a few ma'ams even in male mode so I know how good that can feel!
Today I was ma'amed at the meat counter at Krogers to my surprise. I looked around and there wasn't anyone in the area besides me. It was nice to hear. At the other extreme I got a "shut up bitch" from a punk in the parking lot last week. I had to laugh.
