Last night I went out for ice cream with the family.
I didn't want to change so I decided to go in the denim mini skirt that I had on.
As we came to the the ice cream shop,
I had some apprentsion as to my choice of attire. That was quickly dismissed as the patrons and the servants at the shop did not recognize me for who I am.
After about 10 minutes, I realized that it did not matter how I was dressed,I was accepted as a an individual. Even though my order was screwed up,But honestly, that may habe been just to check me out.
Without question.
The ice cream cream was also great.

I have been out dressed as a woman a few times.Shopping at DressBarn just feels right and its fun to shop as a women does.Am I 100% passable,no,but if you portray a confident female,its much easier.I have found that most people usually dont realize a crossdresser is in their midst unless you draw attention to yourself.Ladies,have fun with it and be the ladies you were meant to be.
Way to go Claudia, that's super brave but you're right, people are more accepting than we often think (or just don't notice/care!). Just curious, were you wearing other feminine attire/makeup/hair or just a denim skirt with an otherwise male appearance? I'm either 100% (feels safer in 'full disguise') or 0%.

That's awesome Claudia! It's amazing how much we build it up in our minds, but it really shouldn't be a big deal. Regardless, it still is and that's awesome!
OVS , you should naturally wear what is appropriate for your age and the situation . I dress now always as a young lady , but wear what is in fashion for my age group . I love wearing cocktail dresses and evening gowns , but only to the social occasions where they are appropriate . I like to stop after work for a drink of wine at our local bistros , and I am always with a girlfriend or my wife , since I dress really to impress or be accepted by my girlfriends . I do not try to dress sexy for guys , but they often are attracted to me and try to flirt , which unfortunately , I love also to flirt . Wearing a Diamond wedding ring and being with friends usually keeps very thing cordial , especially since I only go to upscale places . I have been stopped on the street a lot , but just smile and thank them for the compliment and show them my wedding ring . Often in nightclubs , I am very careful because OMG I never imagined how clever men are in wanting to touch me in various places . OMG , I never knew a lot of ladies are like this also ! I try to be sweet and gently let people know that am discreet and really they should be courteous .
