Hi Rebbeca, welcome to CD Heaven. The safest place to do your exploring is usually in your own home and if your wife is not so conservative, she may be the best person to share your thoughts with. Have you discussed your feelings with her at all? At the very least sound her out to find how she feels about these things before you begin to collect clothing and having secrets from her.

In the meantime read as many of the posts and stories here as you can and you may find the answers to your own questions have already been answered. Join in the chat room and make friends with some of us. Also, please fill in a little of your profile so we can get to know you better. There are lots of girls here who live in the Bible Belt, you never know who else from your state or city could be here to help you along your journey.

You aren't alone.  I'm 46 and started dressing a month ago for the first time ever.  I also live in the bible belt and know its challenges.   This is a great safe place to talk, and the girls here are awesome!

i have talked to my wife and she is opened minded most of the time. occasionaly when things are hard like they are right now she tends to get upset about it. right now things are just really hard for us. when im on here talking about things with people i get hope, but then i go out into the world and see how hard it is again and get frustrated. im still moving forward though.

it is a small victory but for the first time in my life since i hit puberty im body hair free. it feels so good to making movement in a direction i would like for a change. its a small victory but its my first on this path. my next step i think is to buy some nice cotton panties.

I know how you feel Rebecca. It's taken me a long time to realize my inner woman. I'm in New England but is a very conservative enclave too. I have told no one save my friends here at CD heaven. My wife does not know and would not accept, at least not now. Conservative she is. Anyway, you are not alone, as I found out too, when I joined this site a month ago.

Welcome to CDH, Rebecca. As you've seen, at least a bit of, you'll find a wonderful group of gals here who will be happy to listen, lend advice, and offer friendship.

If you search around the internet, you'll find some rough guides on converting men's sizes to women's. They were pretty spot on for me - only real miss was that I wear a 16 top rather than 14 because of broad shoulders. The guides I had found when I started a bit over a year ago, though, were pretty spot on for panties. For actual purchasing, I'd recommend Amazon as a place you can start. Since your wife is at least a bit accepting, you won't have any problem explaining to her why a package has arrived. It gives you anonymity when shopping, you can find some great prices, and if you already have Prime you get free shipping on a lot of orders (though be wary of 3rd party sellers on Amazon, who don't offer Prime.)

Your wife is wonderful. Give her some time to adjust. You've only just revealed to her what took you, essentially, 37 years to come to grips with. Be honest if she asks any questions - even if the answers are ones you or she won't like. Speaking as someone with an incredibly supportive wife, it can bring the two of you closer if you both let it. So, give her some time to adjust.
