I am a lifelong CD, out in the world since February 2015. I now go out 2 - 3 times a week. I volunteer, attend church, shop (of course!) and many other things. I have made quite a few GG friends who welcome me as a girl friend and am so blessed in so many ways. My wife is very supportive, although I have kept my secret from all others, including my daughters (except those that meet me now, of course). I struggled with all of this for almost 50 years and now I wonder why? I have never been happier and we have to live our lives, we only get one.
Hi Kandi and welcome! Absolutely love your intro, you are spot on right... we all only get one life to live and we should live it being happy! It's easy to let others get inside our head and make us doubt ourselves and think we are doing something weird or wrong by expressing our true identities. I, too, am guilty of letting that doubt overtake me for far to many years and have learned over the last few years what an amazing thing it is to live life the way I was born to live it.
So glad you've joined up with this amazing soriority of gals on here, all the ladies on here are extremely welcoming and encouraging, it's an amazing place to be. Glad you're here!

I've actually been a member for a while, which is why the introduction is long overdue. I have to admit, I no longer struggle with being CD, I struggle with these web sites and forums. Not sure what to do here, I'm sort of an internet dinosaur. I find it hard to relate to people online, you never know who you are talking to. I prefer person-to-person interaction, which is tough to find where I live. Anyway, thank you for the warm welcome!
