I will be attending a makeup party in a few weeks. This will be my first interactive public venture. My makeup experience to date has been quite limited and I have only used the applicators that accompany the makeup. For this event, I would like to be better prepared. As such, I am looking for some advice and recommendations on obtaining a set of makeup brushes.

It's the makeup party one of those things where they try to sell you stuff?
Yes and no. The host is showcase a new line of makeup, but she is also offering to assist CD and TG in learning to apply makeup.
