Usually Diana and my Drab self have very different likes and activities. Diana loves to be out shopping and out in public. My Drab self spends most of his time working out in the yard (warm months) or my Woodworking Shop.
I am in a DADT relationship and Diana has to sneak to get out. I retired this past year as did my wife. As such Diana does not get near enough of her time so some shared time is called for. Next week is the Woodworking annual show in Indianapolis. Diana is going for me. Of course there will be some shopping time before and after.
What kind of activities do others have that mix their two selves.
I only have one self, but that self likes to dress en femme part of the time. I do not really change when I dress. I do tend to be more relaxed about expressing my inner self when dressed, but that inner self is there en home as well.
I do like to home or walk on the beach en femme, but I do as well en home.
My male self and my female self are one in the same person.
I am involved in veterans affairs and do so as both my male self and female self. As a retired engineer, I participate in social activities as my female self, but if it involves a work project, I will generally participate as my male self.
Ria is an early morning girl, en femme for a few hours nearly daily. My drab self appears about mid morning but always underdressed to some degree. It is not the ideal but has worked for decades.
It is all a matter of finding what works for any given relationship. I feel the key to expanding your options is the education of our spouses as to what dressing is really about for each of us.
For me, it is just about being a guy in a dress when the mood strikes me. I am not hau, am not transitioning or wanting to dress full time. My wife is aware of all that and knows it is "just clothes" for me and she is fine with the fact I enjoy wearing femme things.
There is no separation betweeen my masculine and feminine selves. I do not percieve there two be different entities. I am me in all my glory, both my femininity and my masculinity. That being said, there are activities and occasions where I tend to express one more than than other in both outlook and wardrobe.

Also, to put mixing him and her another way, I have mixed him and her clothing and make up at times. I have done out in a skirt and forms cut otherwise totally male, or male clothes and makeup. It is fun to mix things up a bit.
