Does your appreciation of music change as you change your outfit from one sex to the other or if you have transitioned?
My range of music goes from metal to Jaz to R&B, opera and country among other genres.
I have a favorite in each category, but I can't say my taste changes as I dress. But I'm told my musical taste is unique.
Thoughts?
I just asked my wife what she thinks about MY taste in music as Amanda as opposed to B.
She said my tastes in music are rather masculine whether I'm dressed or not. I think I agree.
I like old time rock an roll. But I also like Celine Dion, but it doesn't seem to change much if I'm dressed or not.
Mine doesn't change eiher based on how I Dress but is very eclectic...Beach Boys, classic rock from 60's-80's, classical music , NOT HIPHOP/RAP, some country if not too much at a time, acapella music, praise hymn music, 50's Doowop, Big Band, Blues...so pretty wide variety too!
Yes my taste in music changes when I dress up. As a guy I mainly listen to classic rock bands like Iron Maiden, Metallica, Ratt and Def Leppard. But as soon as I change into Jeanette I listen to much softer music by mainly female artists like Linda Ronstadt, Norah Jones, Jewel or Eva Cassidy. Perhaps this has to do with my much softer feminine side? I guess so...
Does this sound strange? Any thoughts girls?
My taste in music doesn't change when I dress, but I consciously try to listen to the "lighter" music in my collection. More Eagles, Dan Fogelberg etc. than Black Sabbath, Guns 'n' Roses etc.
Of course the one exception is Aerosmith who always get a guernsey with "Dude looks like a Lady"
I always like instrumental music no matter what but normally when I dress up I would prefer classical then pop or rock.
My taste in music doesn't change with clothing. However when the alter ego decides to show up, I tend o listen to older metal, harder classic rock or anything with a great guitar ir base rip.
When Jessica is dominant (90%) of the time, my tastes tend to be classical, techno, electronic, latin, salsa etc... get out and shake those hips kind of music.
